Amazing Temps, Easy to build in

Fractal makes versions of this with no RGB, and no window. I'd buy that one for less money if I had a do-over.But overall - you should totally buy a Fractal Torrent. It's outstanding.

Amazing case. Full of features. Looks sharp.

Not sure what that was, but maybe if your building in it, leave the fan LED's unplugged until you get it going. Also, the top plastic is a fingerprint and dust magnet so be prepared to clean that often.

Very quiet with great fans, built in fan hub is a huge plus.Only challenge is cable management, as the back gets very tight. Flat cables work best, and you'll want to plan out your routing. This also won't work well with horizontal oriented coolers like the Ice Giant which need a top exhaust. I use Noctuas exhausting out the back in both of my systems, which works perfectly with the front to back layout the case is designed for. Room for a 140mm rear exhaust is a nice plus too.Note that this seems pricey but it's the RGB model, which isn't listed, and costs a bit more.Highly ... MoreI've built two machines with this, with the latest being a Threadripper + 2x 3090 NVlink config. I was using an Alienware Aurora R4 that I upgraded last year with an Aorus B550M Motherboard, Ryzen 7 3700x, Aorus DDR4 3200 Ram 16GB, and a Sapphire Nitro 5700XT. Needless to say I loved the classic Alienware case with these massive upgrades BUT, I absolutely hated the fact that there was very limited space for airflow and really couldn't do much more. I have plans to keep the Alienware case and possibly make another build after making some adjustments and removing parts that are unnecessary and give to my brother. Back to my review of the Torrent case. I love that there is so much more room for a complete build with endless possibilities. My temps have dropped to a more comfortable number for both my GPU and CPU. I love this case. It's a looker and has great airflow and was overall quite easy to build in. I also love the top mounted PSU, its AMAZING to have access to the back of the PSU so easily. Very tight cable management for such a large case. A few more millimeters would go a LONG way. For a case in this price range, it's really disappointing that the LED strip on the PSU shroud was not functioning properly in my unit. It was flickering and the cable for it was very loose. Could not resolve the issue - not for lack of trying. Its also disappointing that the screws came in plastic bags. Fractal could really take some pointers from Phanteks on how to package their products, especially when they are hitting the $200+ price point for a case. Positioning of the fan hub is not ideal as most fan power cables will not reach it from the 120/140 exhaust mount at the back of the case. Also very difficult to fit the 180mm fans at the base of the case when using a full size ATX motherboard. 3 eggs. Big room for improvement on a great concept.

Great Air Flow but I didn’t want RGB
11 April 2023

Did not want RGB and made the mistake in buying this model. I wish I could return it via mail because I live 2 hours away from Tustin. I don’t have them connected but it’s a lot of loose wires and hard to close the back of the case. Another Con is that both sides had tempered glass. Why would the back side that shows nothing have tempered glass? I thought it was be metal. Otherwise, the case has great airflow. I really like it except that I did not check the model I purchased. The RGB fans are an ugly transparent-white color and would have preferred all black.

Great build quality and the best Airflow case on the market
30 September 2022

Fractal continues to be the best case maker on the market. I absolutely love the top mounted power supply area. The pre-supplied fans are the best I've seen in a case. Taking off side panels is very easy and doesn't feel like you're going to break the glass ever.Cons:#1 The Fans do not have an RGB default. You have to use software supplied by your motherboard. They really should have set the default RGB's to what is used in adverts ( Green / Blue )#2 Cable management is a little tough to pull off correctly. Having all glass side panels makes bad cable management stick out.#3 This case is huge!!

Love it!
6 March 2022

I bought the case for my new 12900K rig. I love it! There is plenty of room inside. I was able to fit a 420mm radiator in the front too (It was a super tight fit but works). My one criticism of the case is that the glass sides just sort of clip on rather than being held in place with screws. Without excellent cable management skills, it will be very hard for most people to get the right side to stay on properly. Regardless though, I would definitely purchase this case again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a case with excellent airflow.

Not cheap, but worth the money
11 January 2023

Built my latest PC in this case after checking out a display model and hearing the praise it received from Gamers Nexus. Was able to mount a 420mm Corsair AIO in the front with the 180mm fans moved to the bottom, setup the radiator for push/pull configuration (2 push, 3 pull) and still had enough room to mount a 4090 and do all the cable management. The included cable management straps and backplate design made building a great experience and the airflow through the case is incredible. It may not be as stylish as a Hyte or Lian Li cube, but the thermals are second to none. Worth every penny.

Roomy Case, recommended for air cooling only
31 January 2023

Love the case, bought it a few months ago. Cable management can be a little difficult but once you get it done, it looks great. RGB fans are more expensive but I like the way they look--if not for you, regular fans are available. Have a 4090 in there and it stays cool, in case you want to verify reviewers who claim the case cools well, it does. Can be loud tho, it's got great ventilation which means it won't dull the sounds of fans of under load. Put headphones on our the volume up a little bit and you won't notice.Would've liked a couple more USB slots on top but I make do. Literally only negative in my personal experience.
