Works as described and as expected
Although very expensive, a kitchen tap is used hundreds of times a day by a family and gets used hard. We have had many cheaper taps that wear out in some way. This one feels completely different, a smooth, positive control, maintaining hot/cold proportion at all flow rates, and with smoothly operating movement of the spout. No wobble, no flex, just beautiful engineering. The extending hose works superbly. Completely satisfying piece of equipment, worth spending the money for something you use every day, multiple times.
The tap is not the same as you would see in the showroom or online. To use the tap for cold water you have to go all the way to nearly an inch or 2 above the sink and the hot water is in line with the tap It should be just half way that if you want to use either cold or hot water then you do not have to move beyond 45 degree angle and when not in use it should be in line with the tap line If you are trying to wash a pot with a long handle and need just cold water the pot handle will hit the mixer and either you get a full force of water or then the handle closes the tap. Should bein the center Would not recomment this for the price you pay and I have used Franke before but this was a real disappointment considering I have only installed it about 3 weeks back
