Book quality was good. The language is very much of its time but it it was still readable and worth pushing through as the underlying story is worth it. Totally different to how it is shown in the film's, a much more human story.

It's worth more than a 4-star but not a 5. Once I got past the old-style writing, I enjoyed this book very much. The story is incredible and not what I had expected it to be. I guess I never really knew what the story of Frankenstein was. Found that it was an easier read when the monster was doing the narrating. All-in-all, I would recommend this book to anyone who likes to read.

There was unfortunately quite a lot of annotation in this copy which put me off reading it. It was free, so not too bothered. I put it in the local book swap.

Usuaally when reading books for school I don't like reading them since I assume they were boring but this one was actually a nice read. The waythe story flowed from Walton's letters and into Victor Frankenstein's story was nice and then you resume to the letters. We had to annotate it which made me really understand the book, more than I wiuld before and had footnotes to passages we read earlier in the year and I realize now why we read them :) Please take time to read it!
Like always, world of books is the best place to find almost any title and it also gives the satisfaction that the used books have another chance to be read and reduce waste. Ordered 12 books, were delivered very fast. Thank you!
A different edition to the one pictured arrived, with a ripped front cover. Definitely not in excellent condition. Very disappointed, won't use this service again.
I am not a fan of classics. The language confuses me a lot. Read this for a English novel study. Didn't like Victor at all :/ so irresponsible, breaks promises, just a jerk in general. The monster was okay and a pretty great creature. The ending was really sudden, didn't expect that at all.
"Like new" book has a bent cover, the spine is damaged (book was opened in the middle and the cover was bent back) , and the pages are filthy - looks like mold.
You realize that the march of scientific discoveries bring joy as well as woe while reading Frankenstein.
Perfect! Thank you!
