Love, love, love the idea of the table tennis to go concept. Great to take with you for parties, or even for at home use. I don’t have room for an actual ping pong table so I just clear my kitchen table, which is much smaller than a ping pong table, but wide and long enough to have some surface for play, and voila, you can have an ad hoc game of ping pong at your convenience! Set comes with a storage bag, 2 paddles, and 2 balls. Paddles are decent. You’ll want to buy more balls though. I received this product at a discounted price in return for my unbiased review.

It works better than I had expected. We have used this on our dining room table and coffee table and had great fun. I think it would fit a variety of different sized tables. It’s a really nice set. Fun for all ages. Includes everything you need to play. Very easy to set-up that even my 8 years old nephew can do it. The net is easy to clip to the table, sturdy, and does not sag at all. Portable set that works great. We plan on taking it with us on camping trips. The holidays are just around the corner and I’ll be buying a few sets as gifts. Our family is really enjoying this mobile table tennis. It is so convenient. We’ve hooked it up to picnic tables and our dining room table so far. The paddles are pretty basic, as well as the ping pong balls. If you want a ping pong ball that is slightly heavier in weight, you may want to get another set of balls. The net that latches on to the tables is so super easy, my younger kids can set it up. You basically clip one end, and then pull the net to the other side, squeeze and slide on to the table and voila! Your table is “Table Tennis” ready. Big fan of this item! The net is very easy to install on almost any table. We tried it on a small rectangular fold out table and it was able to fit easily. The clips are easy to install that my 7 year old can put it on without fear of hurting herself. I also like that it retracts so you can use it on a small to a much wider table. The paddles and balls are very basic but it works well enough to play with them especially since you can easily transport them in the storage bag that is included. The net works well on my dining table. It probably won't work on tables with a top larger than 2 inches thick. However, the package arrived damaged and the product looked used. There was dust on everything, the box was taped up and the color rubbed off onto the net. The manual was folded weirdly, which is not a big deal, but it makes me think the product was used. You can't see this very well in the picture of the paddle, but there are yellow stains on it and it smells a bit like old food.
This is an amazing net. The original one that came with the ping pong table was really cheap and had the screw on claps. This has a tension clap and retractable net. It states you need two people since the net wants to retract, but just pull it out and place something heavy on the net, walk over to the other side of the table and clap that side of the net. I have a black table, so was looking for a black net. This was just perfect. Notice in photo. Used corn throw board to create the perfect back board for one person playing. Better then lifting up the other side of the table. More natural returns and if you get it in the hole on occasion just give yourself an extra point.
I have been a big consumer of target.com because it's fast shipping and typically decent reputable products. Lately more and more items are arriving visibly used, like they are returns that didn't pass through quality control. Some damaged, or like this one a damaged box and the paddles had clearly been used because they were visibly dirty. This was for a gift so that was unsuitable. Not happy with Target online currently. the product should have been fine, but something needs to be done about managing returns at target.
Playing table tennis is one of my hobbies, but I can never afford to have a ping pong table in my house. I am glad that I have found this to-go set. We set it up on our foldable picnic table in a sunroom so that we do not have to worry about hitting other furniture. The picnic table is a little bit narrow, but the net is adjustable so it still fits great. The only thing is the balls are not very smooth. I still can tough and feel the connection between the two halfs of the ball, but it does not seem to affect the ball's directions though. Overall I think this is a good set for ping pong lovers. This is awesome portable ping pong set for those who cannot afford a formal ping pong table or does not have a space to keep one. This is something which will not only excite grown ups but also kids too. This set allows you to play the game on any table any where. The quality of net and paddle is very good and i don't think it will go bad soon. The net was easy to put on a table and the set comes with a carry bag to store items after you are done playing.
