Frederic Malle Musc Ravageur Eau De Parfum Spray (Unisex) 50ml

This is a special one, and probably my favorite so far from FM. This is like a skin musk on steroids. It's warm, spicy, powdery, musky and sweet. The full list of notes includes lavender, tangerine, bergamot, cinnamon, cloves, musk, vanilla, tonka bean, amber, sandalwood, guaiac wood, and cedar. The sweet vanilla and musk melt into my skin so nicely with this, which is what kind of gives the second skin scent vibe to me. This is also beast-mode though, and both the sweet, musk notes as well as the spices and woody notes linger for ages, even with just a few sprays! If you love tuberose or white florals, you gotta get Carnal Flower. I KNOW it costs like $300-500. I get it. But it’s just so green and vegetal and tuberose and TUBEROSE. It smells like you’re in a beautiful garden. Or maybe that you ARE the beautiful garden. The ad copy notes, “The perfume contains a larger dose of tuberose absolute than any other perfume,” and boy does it. It doesn’t have the greatest longevity on me, though it does last, it just gets really soft. Still beautiful, though, and I believe most people do find the longevity and sillage to be pretty powerful. One of my (tuberose-)absolute favorites.

I was sent this complimentary sample of carnal flower by Frederic Malle fragrances. This is a perplexing scent and not at all a common one. The first spray is a powerful one where the notes reveal some spiciness. Then dries down to a powdery musc. This scent is not for everyday wear. I think this is more for a night out or wonter scent because it is very VERY strong. The scent lingers for a long time as well. I don't know what to make of this scent becaise i found myself hating it at first but then felt like it wasn't so bad then not liking it again. It was a rollercoaster of emotions and so I do not see myself buying this fragrance.

It has lavender and bergamot in the opening. The mid-notes are prominent with cinnamon and clove. The base is well rounded with sandalwood, tonal, vanilla, and cedar. I made a terrible mistake, though, and rubbed this beautiful charm of a fragrance all over the Portrait of a Lady I had previously been wearing and become disenchanted with. My skin began radiating the warm vibes of a spruce pine Christmas wreath being hazed with a hanging cinnamon broom you get at the local grocery. The two did not play nice and assaulted my senses in a way I could not have anticipated and never want to experience again. This nuclear combination took many scrubbing with soap, alcohol rubs, and two showers to fully leave my skin. This was only two sprays of each frag. My room also still smells like a Christmas Carol is taking place 24 hours later… This will be beautiful in the cooler months when I try it again. I will love it with hot apple cider and a fire with my S.O.

I tried this as part of the essentials sample set from Frederic Malle. My mom got the set and didn’t like it and gave it to me so I was a bit weary from the beginning. This one smelled the prettiest and most interesting from the bottle. However, upon first spray - wow.. Rich old lady in a bottle. I’m in my 30s and I’m on the hunt for a “grown up” perfume. This was extremely overpowering and demanding of attention. I wore it during the day and that was probably a bad idea as it was just too intense. This is definitely a strict night time only scent. I even thought to myself in the car as I toyed with the idea of plugging my nose that this might actually be a fragrance I’d only wear to a funeral.

Extremally Seductive

I find this scent so very seductive and sensual, perfect across gender but if you're trying to find a man a more unique and seductive scent that isn't Sauvage this is a WINNER!!! Its not the most powerful scent in the fact people won't smell you as soon as you walk into a room but once they get a bit closer to you, the game of the senses begins. Honestly, this is just so gorgeous without screaming for attention or to be noticed it teases and nose with a little tickle and hint and its when you close to the skin do you get to enjoy the cocktail of notes. I remember the brand once saying this is their sexiest scent, and I see why because it so enjoyable when you are nice and close! Just nice

This scent is quite distinctive but it smells really similar to another fragrance. I can’t quite remember what one but it’s definitely not unique. I like it and it seems to last but it’s not different enough to warrant the hefty price tag. From the reviews I expected it to blow my mind - however that didn’t happen. The last time I purchased a perfume based on hype was Baccarat rouge 540 - that really did blow my mind. I’ve never smelt anything like it and I’d suggest anyone that’s considering this fragrance, to try that one instead. It’s a proper show stopper.

Very wearable white floral

Carnal Flower is a stunning white floral fragrance that’s perfect for warm weather. Sweetness from tuberose, creaminess from the coconut and the freshness of melon is what I get in the dry down. Reminds me very much of Gardenia by Chanel, and also Lys 41 by Le Labo - two fragrances I love very much. Not to say they’re all the same because they aren’t at all, but if you find those two scents enjoyable, you’re going to love Carnal Flower.I do have a problem buying Frederic Malle fragrances from Mecca though and that is the packaging. finally, a floral without a headache

I’ve been searching for 10 years for a new signature scent since I outgrew my last one. I have spent so much trying to find the perfect scent-but everything either gave me a headache, or I hated it after a month. But this one?? Not an instant love, I will admit. It was very green on me in the store which initially deterred me from purchasing, but I had a sample in my purse that I randomly used one day, and once it dried down it was amazing. I didn’t even realize I was the one who smelled so good. I kept looking around to see if someone nearby was wearing the scent to ask them what it was, then my bf compliment me. And I was shocked. Me? Im the one who smells like that? I used that tester for a solid week before I decided it was the one.
