Fresh - Rose Face Mask - 100ml

Perfect for soothing overheated, sensitive skin at the end of a hot summers' day. I first tried this mask during winter and other than a slight increase in hydration, I didn't really notice much difference in the appearance of my skin, brightness etc and ended up putting it to one side. Turns out I was using it at the wrong time of the year! I still don't see much in terms of brightening but it does slightly plump up my skin and feels great to use. Also quite easy to rinse off. If I had one small criticism, it would be that it doesn't do anything at all for my skin texture and in that respect would benefit from AHA fruit acids which would also fit in nicely with the brands' 'natural' philosophy and elevate the results from 'good' to 'great' (would also help with brightening). The downside to that being you wouldn't then be able to use this mask to soothe skin after a light chemical peel, which I imagine this would be great to use starting a day or two after. Seeing as I have some firm favorites for sorting out texture issues, I'll stick to using this how it works best for me: simple, lightweight moisture and decent skin-calming benefits. -- My Top 10 Beauty Must-Haves

But that's due to me using Adapalene and having over sensitised skin. My skin really did feel more hydrated but I feel like it doesn't help the flakeyness around my nose and mouth. I feel like if the formula was thicker and richer, it would be more suitable for super dry skin types. Although this would be a really good mask for dehydrated skin types. I feel as though you could find more affordable masks that have the same functions. Maybe not the same texture or scent but the function of hydrating your skin and toning it can be found in many other masks.

It has a lightweight, smooth, thin-ish gel texture. It instantly feels cooling and smells so light and refreshing, with a true, delicate rose scent that is not at all heavy, fake or cloying. It’s a light brown color, with rose petals throughout. I use this when my skin needs some TLC and hydration, and when I don’t want to use a mask with any actives. I use a small spatula to apply to damp skin. I let is sit for 15-20 minutes and relax, or it stays in place if you need to be walking around.. I find it’s easier to wash off with a damp washcloth or Makeup Eraser. I have tried a lot of masks and products. What I like about this one is it’s no fuss. It’s easy. The product is pretty thin, I think it smells nice and it seems to dry pretty fast. It feels pretty comfortable on my face. I have been using it as an overnight mask for months because I feel like I’m doing a little something extra for my skin, but, honestly, i wouldn’t buy it again because it’s probably better than nothing but I don’t think it’s doing anything and I think you could get a much better product to hydrate and plump the skin.

I mever leave reviews but I recently got this mask from Ipsy and it is absolutely bananas (/roses). I've stuck to a pretty consistent routine with the same products the past few months, and when I added this mask it was a game changer. My face has never felt more smooth and bright. I'm 36 but feel like I'm glowing in my twenties, sans all the trauma. I bought this at a discounted price but am willing to pay full price once it's used up, especially since it's a pretty generous size. Give her an absolute go.

Marvelous mask

Have used a number of Fresh products and always been happy with results. The rose mask no exception. Received a sample and was keen to try. The cooling gel with a subtle rose aroma glided on my skin, felt amazing on a warm day and such a treat A lĹittle while later when washed off face felt deeply cleansed and glowing. Will definitely look to purchase this mask . Skin feels fresh and very soft . Will add to my weekly beauty plan

No real difference

Lovely smell but felt no real difference initially or a couple of days after. It may be different if you use regularly but I’ve only tried a small amount so not sure long term.However, the smell was pleased and didn’t irritate my sensitive/ sometimes dry skin. If you get on better with sheet masks I feel like you should avoid this and go for something that creates a real protective barrier that pulls everything from the mask into your skin.

Ravishing Rose Face Mask

I received a sample of this with a purchase and didn't hold out a lot of hope for it, in truth. I've sensitive skin that reddens easily from a variety of factors. However, this slipped on easily. It proved refreshing and nurturing. What's more, it's really economical too. I've now bought a full sized pot. On flare up occasions, I add a Caudalie grape water blast to hydrate and find my skin calming immediately.

Wake up to roses and clear skin !

This is a first time use for me and it is unlike anything else I have used - in a good way -I hasten to say .I apply this to dampened skin first thing in the morning and it smells lovely for a start and is cooling and easy to apply despite the gritty exfoliating feel in the cool gel .It miraculously disappears into the skin quickly and allows a softness rather than tightness to be the main feeling .It has worked well for me in giving my skin a smoothing and glowing finish before my morning routine and make up . It’s an easy regular for me now and I would miss using it now despite its unusual texture as it works !
