I use this blade in my sliding miter saw and it cuts as smoothly as my table saw Forrest II blade. You will not be disappointed. A saw is only as good as its blade and this blade will make your saw top notch.
Had blade a couple of yrs done alot of cutting has 2 chipped teeth and 1 missing and still cutting through like budda!
We needed a fine tooth blade for cutting poly carbonate as well as wood, both cross-cut and ripping. The blade that came with the saw was a bit too coarse to leave a good finish, but this 80-tooth blade was a good compromise. The finish was as expected.
Great price and value. Some tear out on oak. Cuts pine and basswood like butter. Thanks for a good overall product. Will see how it cuts after getting it sharpened.
I purchased this 80 tooth blade as I had originally purchased a 90 tooth but found that I was getting binding due to the blade being thinner than the riving knife. The 80 tooth was appropriately sized. I find with melamine I have to have the blade set pretty high in order to get a clean chip free cut in 5/8 material. If I go by the rule of thumb of 1/2 blade sticking out the top, I have really bad chipping.
Smoothest cuts my saws have made in a long time. Replaced blades on miter saw and table saw. My glue joints are smoother and the finished products are much better. This enables me to be a better craftsman.
Bought this for ripping and cutting red oak stair treads (1"). The blade didn't do well with the rips. It started out great but got tired fast and started burning the wood. The package clearly says it works for ripping hardwoods. It did great on the crosscuts. The cut finish is excellent.
I bought this blade for my son in law for use on a RYOBI TSS012L sliding miter saw. He is using to replace the trim work as they refinish some rooms in their home. They are very happy with the finish of a cut, no sanding before installing the trim piece,1) In the description of this blade there is no mention of tooth "hook" angle, it is recommended that a negative hook be used on a sliding miter saw.2) In the "Best describes your trade?" there should be a option to put in "HOME OWNER" or similar option,
