I bought this because I’ve loved my Freya Deco bras and was hoping for something similar in quality and shaping. I agree with other reviewers that the material feels cheap. For me, the support is not adequate. The end shape of my breasts was somewhat “flopped” over the underwire. I’m pretty sure I do need a different size, but I wouldn’t expect the flopped look to change. This seems to be related to the material of the cups. I also found the straps immediately painful. I’m hoping customer service can help me get into a bra I like. I will not be attempting to find this bra in a better fitting size.

Gave this 2 stars as the fit was ok and seemed to be true to size, however for the price the material feels cheap and scratchy. The straps are narrow and thin, and they cut into my shoulders. Generally wasn't very comfortable and could only stand to wear for an hour or two. Headed for the donation pile.

I am still pregnant and got this bra because my others were getting small. The base of the bra has some lace that has caused some minor skin irritation- I don't think this will be a problem after I have the baby. Good shape, nursing access and support for a nursing bra.

I purchased this bra in 30G which is the size I am now during pregnancy and it was such a relief to put on to get that much needed support, I was initially so so pleased. However when I wore it to work the next day I realised it was hurting my a lot as the underwire in between my boobs was rubbing and digging into my breast to the point I had to find a bit of cloth to stop the pain (it didn’t help much but stopped any skin from being rubbed away) as it was so painful by the end of the day I did ask to return even though I have worn it and bravissimo were great and let me return. It has however put me off buying another underwire maternity bra - it offers the support but the wires are just too painful
Brought this bra in October and was initially in two minds about choosing an under-wired style. After trying non-wired bras which provided no support I decided this was the best option. This bra was the only under-wired nursing bra available at the Ealing Broadway store and during the fitting process was re-assured that although it felt a little bit tight, it would feel better once I had nursed my baby. Since October I have attempted to wear this bra twice, the first time it was just too uncomfortable but also very unflattering and the second time caused me to have mastitis. I did hope that maybe after I reduced breast feeding that it may fit but too be honest im too afraid to try after the mastitis incident.I would suggest all breast feeding mums to stick to the ... MoreBrought this bra in October and was initially in two minds about choosing an under-wired style. Dont trust your initial fitting if you do purchase this bra, try it on at home and see how comfortable it is first.
I've had these bras for 8 months and wear them 24 hours a day. I wear 32H and cannot find ANY other brand bra that will fit me. I ordered EVERY brand from Figleaves (and other online stores) and NOTHING else fit. It is very sad that there is so little to choose from as a large busted/smaller ribcage female. As a larger bust, I can tell you that non-underwire doesn't cut it- I got smooshed into a massive uniboob with overflowing cups too (in the largest sizes). They are only just now starting to show wear, and if they start to stretch out a bit, a quick 10 minutes dry in the dryer shrinks them back to original size. My only critique is that they aren't cute/glamorous after 8 months. Maybe some bright colors or prints? Anything for those of us who literally cannot ... MoreI've had these bras for 8 months and wear them 24 hours a day. I wear 32H and cannot find ANY other brand bra that will fit me. The function of the bra is great, it gives nice shape to your boobs etc but the actual comfort one long wearing of the bra is so uncomfortable. Thin straps with what feels like razor like thread that cuts into your skin. Considering these are for bigger boobs, I’d expect thicker straps etc!
I bought this bra late in my nursing journey for my first baby and loved it. I’ve tried a few and nothing else compares. I have a small frame but larger breasts, which is hard to accommodate in most bras and even harder when pregnant/nursing. This bra is especially supportive for larger breasts with the underwire and the breathable mesh is amazing with leaky boobs (it doesn’t get funky from milk and can go a few wears before needing a wash). I doubled down and bought two more for my second pregnancy in different sizes to accommodate my growing body/boobs. I love Freya for swimwear and will now use them for bras too!
This is the worst bra I’ve ever purchased from Bare Necessities. While I’ve seen the decline over the past few years of. Freya’s quality in inconsistence of sizing and weaker fabrics than their glory days, this is abysmal. The straps are skinny and the cups are massive and shapeless with a smaller disproportionate inner support band. The fabric is an itchy , cheap synthetic microfiber. The 40 G was sized closer to a UK H or HH. The over all construction is very poor.
I am so happy to have found this bra! I have literally tried every nursing bra that comes in my size and this is the only one that fits properly and gives me a decent shape. I'm currently wearing a 30H in a "normal" bra, which is probably getting a little small in the cup so I tried a 30H and 30HH in the Pure. The bra is generous in the cup so I actually found the 30H fit the best, with the foam being stretchy there will still be room to grow when my milk comes in. If you're inbetween sizes I would say go down a cup size definitely. The moulded cups give a nice shape from the side and the flexi wire means it feels much closer to a wired bra. It does have a wider look than I am used to, but I guess that's because the foam is soft and comfy so I'm perfectly happy to compromise on that! It's been such a struggle to find a nursing bra in a small back size but that still has a big enough cup size so I'm thrilled and have ordered it in every colour!Thank you Figleaves!
