Pros: -Easy to understand buttons. This camera was purchased for volunteers to use. I needed a camera that was self-explanatory. When you turn the dial for a specific setting, a handy illustration pops up on the display window giving the function of that setting. -Low Light pictures turn out. When we first got the camera I tested how well it took pictures in low light situations. While in my office, I shut off all the lights and had a co-worker move to see how well the image turned out. To my surprise the picture turned out well compared to my digital slr camera. I then tested taking pictures in our sanctuary during a service which does NOT have good lighting at all. For the most part the pictures turned out okay but some of them were blurry. -Facial Recognition. I ... MorePros: -Easy to understand buttons. This camera was purchased for volunteers to use. I opted for the F60fd mainly because it had newer facial recognition software then the F50fd. -Local memory. If you happen to have a full SD card, you can save a few pictures to the camera locally. It's great especially when you have those Kodak moments and your SD card is full. Cons: -Charging the battery. From what I know, you have to take the battery out of the camera and place it into a special outlet charger. To get an extra battery, I think it would be an addition $50 +/-. It just makes it a hassle to get the battery charged.

First of all i`d like to say, that this camera maybe isnt the coolest from its outer appearence but if you focus on making pictures there is in this size no better camera. The menu is easy and selfexplaining. The pictures acurate and clear an it is good possible to make pictures if it is a little bit darker outside and with other cameras you`d need a flash. something i like very much is, that they give an acculoader which is extern, and so its easy to reload one accu while working with another one. The camera makes pictures up to 12 MP and works woth SD Cards up to 32 GB

Disappointed in image sharpness indoors. All other features are above expectations, but if the image is always blurry then what's the use.

Great camera, easy to use.
I use this camera to photograph my children for small prints (8.5x11 max) and for the web. It works very well for this. The files get a little Oil painty and low-resolution for my tastes above ISO 400, but the colors are dead-on and pleasing up to ISO 1600. This camera does a decent job of getting close to 12 megapixels if you put it on a tripod at ISO 100, but beyond ISO 100 it may as well be a 6 megapixel camera. My main problem with the camera is that the computer brain that does the automatic settings has an overly optimistic view of it's image quality at ISO 800. The automatic setting go to ISO 800 pretty fast (including flash pictures), which causes problems. I mostly shoot in AE mode to avoid this.
great camera and greate deal will do busness again. Very easy to use just agret deal thanks a million
This little guy can do more than my full size cameras. Great to slip into pocket and just go, not to worry about film or missing a shot....
As Fujifilm compact camera reputation, This F seris Finepix is one of the best camera which can shoot a picture in low light. But unlike I expect, there's many limitation on functions like movie (only 25fps), and uncomfortable control. Before I use this camera, I used Panasonic FX-150 and Nicon S700 which have 1/1.7"size CCD sensor. FX-150 has wonderful and amazing mechanical parts, and S700 was really lightweight camera. but S700 doesn't have any kind of manual control function and there's something wrong about exposure that was always over 1EV. F-150 was good but yellow noise on photo really annoyed me. I don't have any claim on quality of picture of F60fd, but I guess controlling have to be more better.
