I love this instant film. My favorite is the shiny stars. But the macron is also adorable. I wish that the cameras took better images. But it’s so much fun. Especially for us Boomers. They’re nostalgic. Try one if you haven’t. You will love it😍

The film itself works very well, exactly as is to be expected. The problem with the instax system is not the film but the cheap cameras made to use it. Using this film in a camera with more sophisticated exposure control that has been adapted to accept the film results in far superior results. However you choose to use it, do not shake it. You only do that with the older pull-apart style instant films. It's best left undisturbed and out of direct sunlight.

I bought this to print from my Fuji X-Pro2 and my iPhone 6. Easy to use and prints fast. Small enough to carry in my camera bag. I included a photo with a pen in it for scale. I really like the black and white tone. Only down side is the pictures are not as sharp as they could be. This little printer is great fun to print on location to give the subject something to take with them. Highly recommended for what it is...
Its an easy camera for a child to use, and takes a reasonable, even unique, colour image. However, the costs of each film pack are huge; at about $1.30 per image. Kids being kids, the films last about 10 minutes. A novelty item these days, with fond memories of Polaroids in the 1970s, this camera will get a film cartridge once or twice a year.
I thoroughly enjoy my new toy: The mini printer. The Instant films are easy to use. However the photo quality is not that of a normal photo: I always have to adjust brightness, otherwise the photo is printed to dark. Also the colors are not coming out correctly. But still I am happy with this toy. It allows to print instant memories.
I like to use the color Instax film outdoors. Indoors, it feels like I'm always having to think about the limited flash power on the cameras, but outdoors the colors and quality are fine. If you want the highest detail, go with the monochrome, black & white Instax. I recommend the Mini 90 Neo Classic camera, as well. It provides you with some versatility on exposure and flash that is helpful for getting the most out of this film.
I LOVE B&H but this pack of film I bought only had one working cartridge out of a pack of two. The second package never dispensed the test photo and read “0” even after reloading. I was disappointed because I wanted to take an important photo and only had this roll left. No luck. I wanted to call and speak to someone but the call waiting time was 117 minutes. I will buy another pack and try my luck.
I use this Instax Mini Film with my FujiFilm Instax Mini 50s. Super old camera I got as a gift and it has lasted quite some time. I usually get my 35mm film developed at different photo labs in the lower east side and they have some of this Instax film in stock but super overpriced ($18-$22 for the two pack) and usually cash only (very inconvenient because who carries cash lets be real). Color quality on this is awesome and you can download a scanning app on your phone to digitalize (check attached images). What I love about B&H is they almost ALWAYS have this in stock and reasonably priced. I always get the two pack just because buying one is definitely not cost-efficient for how frequently I go through these. I actually placed an online pick-up order for this ... It prints better picture than the 70's old fashion polaroid film. I like the cute size of it. The only thing i dont like is the price, its expensive!! Average cost per film is $cents to a $ depends on where you bought them. Because its expensive, there's no room for error in taking pictures. I have to be sure of my subject, angle and lighting before i take a picture unlike on my camera phone where i can take lots of pictures till i get the right one and i can even edit it! But with this film, i cannot afford to miss a great shot. The films are just so expensive. Hopefully they can make a cheaper kind of film that can still print good pics in the future.
