Best Buy is incompetent when it comes to shipping

Cool little camera. I think it’s awesome for the most special of special moments but beyond that, if you’re interested in Polaroids based off the film look.. save your pennies and invest into a digital film camera. I think if you plan to use the camera a lot, it’s unsustainable due to how much the film is. Like after 600 photos you’d have paid the price for a digital film camera on the cheaper side. Also important to note, from here on out I will not use the shipping option from Best Buy. They use too big of boxes with a comical (in a scary way) amount of safety packaging for expensive breakable objects. I was terrified receiving my dslr and lens and was unable to return based off a criminally short return period. Handlers probably threw around my gear. Go in store ... MoreCool little camera. Easy and fun camera

Easy and fun to use!I actually bought this to send pictures along with a manifest for a literal barrel of gifts I’m sending to an island in the Caribbean. As far as instant cameras go it works great. I was alive and had the original Polaroid instant camera back in the day so I think I’m somewhat qualified to give a review. Lol!!The Fuji brand has been around and I’ve never had a problem with them, yet.This Fuji instant camera only takes a moment to get used to orienting the camera and turning the camera on using the lens. It’s easy to take selfies and close up pics, it’s one of the functions. In fact this camera has 3 easy setups, off, on and closeup. Find your vintage one it will work better! BLURRY

I really wanted great retro snap shots for my son’s party. I bought 40 cartridges of film. When the camera arrived I tried it out… hummm not great quality but maybe it was lighting I thought. NOPE this camera stinks!! Not only are all the pics blurry (more so than the original Polaroids) but half the time the film is off center thus your photo is never center. It was a fun idea but the outcome was very disappointing! The selfie setting had slightly better results but don’t count on regular setting for anything over 3ft away!! If I could do it all again I would probably just get the Polaroid printer that you can hook your phone to.

Fun camera, but no digital option

Our daughter took this away to camp and really enjoyed taking pictures of her friends and the scenery. She also took some pictures of family, and everyone really enjoyed their instant photos. They have a version which has digital as well. I'd probably favor that one as you get the fun of instant pictures and a digital copy. But our daughter really likes the fun shape and color of the camera.

Irritated and you lost a sale to Best Buy

I was looking for the Fuji Instax Mini 12 camera. Walmart in town had lilac colored ones in stock listed for $69. I went to the store to purchase and told by the clerk that the strike-out prices are online. But I could order online today and pick up today later at the side door basically. These people at Walmart go get the camera and let you know to pick it up! That is crazy to me. I have to come back? I drove down to Best Buy and bought the same camera for $69.99. This needs to stop. It’s inconvenient and not logical.

Our Go to for fun Memories

The features on the 12 mini from the 11 mini are great. I did like the look of the 11 mini better, but the features on the 12 are awesome. On the 11 we kept on taking blank photos as the lens cap would not always open all the way, wasted a lot of film that way. On the 12, we haven’t wasted a single photo. The viewfinder is way better on the 12, it’s fun to use just as the 11 was. Overall great camera, we have lots of fun taking photos with friends and family and it’s always with us when we travel. It’s not too big of a camera, it fits just fine on our carry on luggage. Travels well in our backpacks( with a protective case). I always recommend this camera to our friends and family that also enjoy capturing those special moments when on a road trip.

Perfect Christmas Gift

I have owned two other Instax cameras but have been wanting to upgrade my current instax mini 9. I went browsing at Target as one does and saw this deal. Decided to try it out and no regrets so far. My biggest selling point admittedly was the color but I love the glittery case that is included as well. The strap probably won’t work for me long term in this Florida heat as it will probably be uncomfortable after a while but otherwise love this set. The magnetic frames are cute accessories for any refrigerator. Will probably do without the photo album for personal reference because I prefer a scrapbook style but so glad to have come upon this set.
