All 3 boxes came pretty beat up but that does not take away from the fact that I got 60 sheets worth of instax square film for a great price!! The film is expired (it's from 2022) but I tested it and it works great! Looking forward to capturing so many photos, thank you!

I was gifted an Instax for Christmas and the pictures are so good! A nice heavy contrast that makes everyone's teeth white and eyes bright, but still looks natural and retro. This has been so fun for parties and get togethers. In lower lit scenarios, subject really needs to hold still to not blur (even with flash), but window light is plenty for most scenarios.

Arrived faster than expected, given the Covid 19 situation. Disappointed that they gave me film that expires in 2 months, so I really felt pressure to print random pictures just so I can use it before it expires. The first 2 packs of film gave awful results, whites had no detail and the pictures on film were showing up way lighter than the pictures on the phone. Last 2 packs did not share this issue, leading me to believe I had received faulty film. So because of the faulty film and film expiring in only 2 months, I knocked off 2 stars. This film works great in my instax square printer. The images develop clearly and evenly on to the film. When it first prints, it takes up to 1 minute to see the picture developing. After that it takes about 10 minutes for the picture to fully develop. This film looks just like the old school Polaroid pictures. It is only about a 1/4 of the size of old school Polaroids. Overall this film makes me feel so nostalgic. I love it.
Perfect for the average consumer.ButLack of details in contrasted areas (whites and blacks). I do a lot of polaroid/instax with original cameras and I also have a binstax (a mamiya RB67 back to be able to shoot instax square), and I can tell there is a difference in quality between the two brands. If you do proper scans with the pictures, polaroid does offer a more detailed picture, and with that comes a nicer post production experience.
Full disclosure: I do NOT shoot this in a Fujifilm Instax camera. I use it in a Medium Format Back for a film camera.Resolution is poor, but it's not unworkable considering it's small size. This is somewhat expected due to it being an integral film.Latitude is VERY poor. I estimate 2-3 stops of workable latitude. Highlights blow out easily, and shadows crush the same. This almost has to be shot in very flat light to see a lot of detail. I find this more challenging to meter for than slide film.Rated speed is inconsistent. Fuji provides minimal guidance for developing, and I have had to adjust almost a full stop either way depending on the pack.
