This is a nifty and fun little camera! Harvey Norman offered great value on the camera, case and film. It does take a while to get your head around the fact that the flash basically always goes off (which leads to over-exposure), and that the shutter button is very easy to accidentally press. So it's a good idea to get an extra 'roll' of film for your first try at this. It's portable and gives beautiful shots, and is a great ice-breaker at social events.

This was a bit of an impulsive purchase but so far I've very happy. The camera is easy to use and perfect for me-- I wanted an instant camera so that I can be more intentional about taking pictures and get physical prints without having to get film developed. Quality is definitely good. It isn't the best in low light but I'm old enough to remember when all photos were like that, so it feels very nostalgic for me. I looking forward to letting my young cousins use this camera and experience the magic of physical photographs! I'm so glad that I bought this camera from B&H because I was able to get a package with a case made by Instax plus affordable film.

Awesome, well-built, and fun camera. The image quality is so unique which is what makes Instax cameras special. The square film is a nice size and I'm glad I went with it over the mini. The only two things I wish were different are battery type and built-in timer, or lack there of. CR2 batteries aren't as common, but they aren't hard to find. It would just have been nice if it used AA. The selfie mode and mini mirror in the front of the camera are such great features, but a timer would have complimented the selfie mode perfectly. On the other hand, the simplicity of this camera is really why I bought it. It really is a point and shoot with no bells and whistles. I had been considering an Instax camera for a while as friends have the Mini ones and love them - they were so much fun at a (pre-COVID) gathering. I decided to buy this one for myself for Christmas and I'm really disappointed. I know I shouldn't be expecting much in terms of photo quality but most of the images are poorly focused and washed out, which stings when they're almost £1 each. I think the best use is for taking pictures of people, where the blurriness is outweighed by the fun of looking at what you just took and seeing what random expressions come out. I had a Polaroid mini before this, but prefer the sizes of this film and can capture more features. Only down side is that there’s no auto-focus. The camera automatically focuses on highlights - so if you have a light foreground (someone wearing white) then a lot will be blurred out. Love photos of friends with this camera, but wouldn’t recommend for photos of landscapes with different backgrounds.
Love the square aesthetic, the colour is super vibrant. The camera itself feels a lil bit ‘plasticy’ and the method of inserting the film is finicky and can get jammed easily. The photos are great quality, that old timey vibe of polaroid really is nice.
I love the look of this camera and the nice square size of the prints looks like the classic Polaroid print. The quality of the print is good, though I do find it comes out a bit blurry if you're not in a really bright environment- that could be the photographer to a point though! If you're taking photos in bright conditions and have a steady hand, the prints come out well! Planning on using this for our wedding later this year and I think it will be perfect for that!
Nice looking camera with a retro feel but the photo quality is awful. It's fully automated with a permanent flash so should be an easy to use point and shoot. I tried it in a variety of lighting conditions with various subjects (2 packs of film) and the photos were a mixture of blurry and either over or under exposed. Not fit for purpose. I appreciate that instant film will be a different quality but as a avid photographer I am very disappointed with this product. Even with all this I cannot get a refund or exchange because it is outside of the 30 day limit, even though the product effectively doesn't work.
For the price, I'm disappointed with this purchase. The framing of shots is off centre so none of the photos come out properly, more often than not the shots are cropped weirdly and need to be discarded. I wouldn't recommend this product, much better off getting an actual Polaroid camera.
Got this as a Christmas present for my wife and I'm not impressed while setting the camera up u accidentally hit the shoot button because of its location about 4 times already. The selfie quality isn't great at all especially taking selfies at night. Will be returning this and opting for a different model as it's not user friendly and is takes poor quality pics compared to other model. Definitely not the same quality photos as shown online.
