Really had to start the first time it floods when you follow the cold start process tried for hours the first day I got it I was ready to take it back, I tried the next day no choke and no pump of the primer and it started to fire. Gave the primer a slight push and she kicked over, ran it for 15min on idle and switched off. Kept trying it though out the day and starts every time.

It was a bit hard to start the first couple of time. But now first go great machine
Fine chainsaw does everything i want. However you must know if you have flooded the engine when starting or it will not start up, in that case you need to start it differently which is seen on youtube.
I bought this just before I had to travel north to a remote property to cut down some trees. This thing would not start followed the manual to a tee replaced spark plug replaced fuel had other people look at it no one could get it to work. Wasted my time will not buy anything from the full boar range again. Cheap rubbish.
Due to the price my expectations were not high. Is very hard to start though but once going it does the job.
Solid chainsaw for the money.A lot of people seem to struggle to start this saw. The trick is to use the choke sparingly - I usually start the saw with the choke IN not OUT as it's easy to flood.If the engine kicks over then dies then try pulling the cord with the throttle engaged. Works every time.
What a piece of crap, tried to start for 2 hours cold start warm start left it came back to it still would not start, left again and got someone else to try. Took it back and the sales person walked up to counter and said let me guess it won't start. I said so it a known fault. He said yes everyone they had sold come back with the same fault.
