Furminator Comfort Pro Grooming Clipper

🐱 Holy Cat! I cannot believe HOW WELL this product actually works! I assist my best friend with her fur baby- and this furminator is the one thing that actually cuts down on the cat hair shedding BY removing the undercoat. 🐱 I am constantly #shocked by what we remove- the hairball to throw to the birds- (for their nests etc....) Looks like a small animal.... 😆 I can highly recommend this for heavy haired pet owners that are looking to see LESS pet hair on you, YOUR couch- clothing...your floors, etc. I am a fan- and I do this to help my best friend's home!!!!! Great quality clippers! Unfortunately I was forced to groom my Toy Poodle furbaby due to groomers being shutdown to COVID and so reluctantly purchased the Furminator Comfort Pro Electric Clipper set. To my surprise, these clippers have not only made home grooming easy but has saved me heaps of $$$'s by doing it myself! Their quiet vibration dosnt scare or make my poodle anxious. The easy to remove combs with a variety of sizes are great! The set comes in a quality handy carry case that includes oil for blade lubrication and brush for cleaning when your done! Durable, high quality and can strongly recommend. ☆☆☆☆☆!!!!

Blades Dull

We purchased these clippers a little over 2 years ago and loved them, at first. We've only groomed our terrier mix a few times per year so these clippers have been used at max - 7 times and no longer cut his hair at all. I'm so disappointed to see that I can't find replacement blades as that is what I came looking for. While I would love to leave a strong review based on a few initial cuts I don't think the life of the product warrants the cost. We diligently cleaned and oiled the clippers during and after cuts as our dogs hair does get long between grooming. Is there a way to secure new blades for replacement? I would certainly recommend if that was the case as we also use the nail clippers and love them.

Blades that dull and can't be replaced?

I bought this item and enjoyed the use for about a a year. Over time the blades have become worn down. Furminator does not offer replacement blades for this product and the advice of washing with soap and water did nothing. Replacement blades would make this product 4.5 stars!

Great Clipper, but

I recently acquired the Furminator Comfort Pro Electric Clipper and clipped my two bathed & dried, small dogs with ease and delight. I cleaned the blade as instructed between uses. Then I clipped my daughter's dog and the outcome was not the same. In such a short period of time, the blade was not working as well with gliding ease & results. I researched buying replacement blades and it seems they are not available for purchase. I am a long-term fan of Furminator products, but this is a let down. Please help as I would like to keep this product: the Grip is Great for smaller arthritic hands, the Lack of Noise is Wonderful for excitable dogs & the Cut was initially Superb, but the blade Must last and/or have Replacements readily available. Great clippers

I bought these to home groom my 2 year old mini schnauzer and they were great. Cut through her fur easily. I don't do a traditional schnauzer cut as she has lovely fluffy fur so just trim even all over. She is used to being groomed and was not scared of the low vibration or noise. Lots of attachments to easily swap over and easy to clean and great case to store it all in.

Love these clippers!

I got these a couple months ago and love them! I have nerve issues in my hands which prevent me from being able to hold objects for extended periods of time, but these clippers hardly give me pause. Bc there is very little vibration, my hands don’t hurt as much as with other clippers I’ve tried. I also love the extra long cord, my last pair of clippers did not give me the range that these do! The only downfall i I have found, like many other reviewers, is my Blade is already getting dull. I have looked everywhere for another blade and didn’t discover there weren’t replacements until I saw others with the same issue. My kit also only came with 3 guards not 4 but I didn’t even notice until now. I love this product and would definitely recommend it!

They don't work

Bought this item and took it home and attempted to groom my dog. I ran the blades over the dog both without and with every attachment in both directions and nothing really happened. Have called the company who asked me to send a photo of the blades and suggested that the bladed don't work with Poodles. I have a miniature Schnauzer will two coats - the outer being wool like hair. Perhaps it doesn't work for Schnauzers too, or maybe its just a product that doesn't do what the marketing says it does (the marketing on the box says it works for all dogs). The company maybe sending me a new blade but subsequent research indicates this product is not really on the radar of those in the know recommending good pet clippers. Waste of money!

I purchased these clippers for my Maltipoo several months ago and they have never worked! The blade is worthless. I packed it away and counted it as a loss out of frustration. With the recent quarantine and my pup needing a grooming desperately, I got them out again and watched some videos thinking maybe it was user error. Again, no luck. I should have read the reviews before purchasing. I am stuck with them as I would never try to sell them knowing they are a waste of money.

Worked great the first time

Bought these clippers for my Bichon frise. Used them the first time when he was a puppy and the second time they worked for half of the time. I can't believe they went dull that fast after I have been cleaning them and oiling them. I have looked for a replacement blade, but there are none in the market. The build of these looked sturdy and like they could last a good amount of time, It is a shame that they are going to end up in the landfill because there is no replacement blade. Now I'm down $80, wasted a lot of time trying to do it myself and looking for blade replacements. Dog looks like popcorn now and I have to pay a professional groomer to finish what I started.
