My dog has sooo much hair. He's a husky but his hair feels almost like cotton and mats so QUICKLY. Theres no drying him without brushing/combing the same time. The Furminator probably saves me so much time out of all the brushes i've used on him. Very easy to hold, theres a quick release for hair on the brush, and he doesn't cry or look at me funny when I brush him. I've attached a photo after just 5 brushes, and this is brushing him weekly. I have a 10 months german shepherd who’s shedding a looooot. Before this, I used a blade, (horse blade) and I think pulls his hair a lot. So I tried the Furminator Large for long hair and OMG !! I’m so impressed. Save your money in groomings and do it by your self . I’ve been on the fence about buying this brush because I thought it was expensive compared to other dog brushes, It’s totally worth the price. Her coat looks nice and shiny. I’m sure we will have to keep brushing as she continues to shed more of her winter coat, but I will do it happily with the furminator!

I bought this deshedding brush/rake/comb for my male cat. He has a very unique coat, u usual for a cat. It's usual in the surface but he has a separate undercoat like some dogs. New dimension to me, but I don't want it getting matted. So I wanted something to keep it nice and knot, Matt free. His tummy fur tends to be curly too which is different. So he needs his own stylist. This comb has a very comfortable handle which can make or break the deal for my arthritic hands, nice and ergonomicly shaped, not hard. Squirt likes to be brushed with it so he doesn't fight it like some other brushes, huge bonus. I also loved that it will not break the bank like some of the pro grooming tools. Under $20 is always a great buy for a quality product. They have my vote and business.

I love this!!! I have a huge English Mastiff that sheds nonstop. By the end of every day I would have dog fur all over my floors, it would build up into piles in the corners. It didn't matter how often I swept or vacuumed. I'd be so embarrassed when we had company. I tried so many dog brushes and nothing helped until I found the defurminator! It truly gets all the loose undercoat that would be on my floor by the end of the day. It also holds on to the fur until you empty it in the garbage. But best of all, my dog loves it too! When he sees me grab it he gets excited and comes and sits right down to be brushed. It's a miracle!

OMG TAKE MY MONEY! I had the original furminator years ago. I now have a Pomsky. I have to brush him every day otherwise its a fur storm in the house. My daughter was playing with his brush and lost it. UGH! I went out an picked up the furminator today to see if it was any better than the slicker brush and comb I was already using. HOLY MOLY!!! Seriously! The hair!!!! 10/10 recommend! You will be amazed at all the hair coming off your double coat breed. Its nasty. Be sure to have a vacuum, sticky roll lint roller, bag and a change of clothes ready when you use this. Hair is gonna fly.

Best hair removal tool for heelers!

My heeler/ husky mix sheds like crazy. I use to have a store brand $10 desheeder that was okay, but still left him with a bit of hair daily. When I went to the pet store for another one, the lady said that this would definitely be worth the investment. I’m so glad I purchased it because it is amazing. I can finally touch my dog or sit near him without any hairs coming off! Very amazing tool

Buy it. Just do it, if you’re looking at this review it’s because your dog is shedding and you’re tired of cleaning up the fur. It’s worth it. I used two other deshedding devices immediately before trying this for the first time and it removed PILES of loose fur that the other de shedders left behind. It works so well beyond the competition that there is truly no comparison. It is a hefty price tag, but worth the investment. Also, my dogs actually enjoyed this one, whereas they would try to squirm away from the others. It must feel like a good scratch to them. It also removed the dander along with the loose fur.
