I had heard so many brilliant things about the Furminator many years ago, my two J Russell terriers have been casting terrible so i thought id invest in one. The dogs and I are so happy I did-its brilliant! I couldnt believe how much was coming out, I did as recommended to start with, you could keep going and going but I choose to observe and respect my dogs when you see they have had enough. The hair will just keep on coming, I kept thinking had I not groomed to get that hair out it would be all over the house. I have to say its nearly been 4 weeks of grooming and their coats are gleaming, every visitor that comes to see me comments on how shiny and amazing my black dog looks. A brilliant brush, we’ve bought it in preparation for getting our puppy but as I couldn’t wait to give it a go, the cat was my willing volunteer. I was very surprised how much hair was removed by the brush (and also how tolerant my cat was) It is much more effective than any of the other brushes we have. I honestly wish I had made this purchase sooner as I imagine it will make the spring shedding much more easy to control

Does a great job of removing dog & cat hair. Solid tool. And our pets love it. I was amazed by the amount of fur it removes.

I’ve never used one of these before on my smooth haired chihuahua, so I wasn’t sure if it would make any difference to my dog’s coat which sheds a lot. It definitely works & I’m surprised how much hair it actually removes. I wish I had bought one years ago. :)
The Furminator had been recommended by a friend for some time for my Wirehaired Dachshunds, having bought numerous grooming products I though oh no not another to join the rest of the rarely used combs and brushes. How wrong was I. Excellent the dogs are comfortable and less stressed having coats groomed, it takes out all the dead coat and leaves the wire coat harsh and good undercoat. I now recommend to all my new puppy owners as its easy to use without any special training.
Brilliant product, thought it might be a bit gimmicky but I ended up with a pile of hair from my little dog. I comb her every day, but has little effect compared with the Furminator. Would highly recommend.
Furminator was recommended by my Vet practice,Good call,easy to use of high quality and removes shedding hair easily and effectively.
Where has this been all my life? Our new pup grew a short but fluffy Winter coat and hairs were everywhere. I tried 3 different brushes, a glove mitt and weekly baths....but it took the furminator to sort him out and I filled a bag of white fluff after he'd already been groomed. No more expensive groomers required as this keeps hair under control and seems to relax him
My medium sized, long-haired dog hates to be brushed. I've tried a variety of brushes with very limited success. While I can't say she loves the FURminator, she will tolerate it, which is a huge success! In addition, it is great for getting a large quantity of fur off with minimal effort.
product works well. the hair release button feels a little cheap, and gets stuck every now and then. The furminator that i own for short hair feels superior.
