We bought this for my 13year old daughter who recently started running cross country. About one week later the Velcro is work out and the straps will not stay hooked. I’m disappointed because it was not cheap especially when you buy it at the local pharmacy at 9pm the night before a race, but even more so because she needs it this weekend and now we have nothing. :(

I bought this strap on the advice of my orthopaedic physician assistant, to relieve patellar tendinitis. It has definitely lessened the severity of pain I was experiencing. Something so simple without being a huge, sweaty confining brace type of device. Apparently (according to a podiatrist I work with) it helps to keep the patella from tracking to either side, so it reduces friction on the tendon; resulting in less inflammation. Only negative thing I have to say is that it is one size fits all, and some who have thinner legs than mine may find that it doesn't fit tightly enough. Too loose= not effective at all. I have thin legs & this is tightened as much as I can get it to be a perfect fit.

This knee strap has really helped me with my patella pain as I have 1 mm of ligament. It's a strong support at rest and during exercise. I've now bought two and definitely recommend for anyone that's having instability in their knees.
Important for anyone who suffers from patellar tendonitis. I have chronic patellar tendonitis and my right knee is worse than my left knee. The good thing is that these straps are adjustable so I can put different levels of tension on each knee. Thank you.
After being unemployed for 18 months, I finally got hired-at the paint desk at my local home improvement store. I wear arch supports but almost immediately had so much knee pain I could barely walk by the end of the day. I could hear my knee joints as I walked or climbed stairs, and all I do at work all day is walk on concrete, carry 8-40 pounds at a time, and climb stair ladders. I don't do sports, I'm just an older person (early 50s) who was having trouble walking because of severe knee pain. I had tried creams with not much relief. I decided to try a knee brace. I have been diagnosed with the laymen's term:"JUMPER'S KNEE". I was shown this strap in the doctor's office and was told their price was too high to purchase in office. I did find the same thing online with Target. I received the strap on the date the shipper said it would arrive. The cost was less than half of the doctor's office cost. I have enjoyed using the strap and my knee feels much better.
