The hinge-like design allows for more natural movement, freeing you up to move and manoeuvre across any trail without feeling restricted. In the event of a crash, this flexible material hardens upon impact, soaking up the impact forces to boost safety and protection.

I love the Pro-X3 elbow guards. They allow me to ignore bushes and rocks that normally scrape and puncture my arms. They stay in place on my arms and never slide out of position like other pads. I feel like a slalom snow skier hitting gates as the pads let me push the branches out of the way without injury. Finally, the pads give me a measure of safety in the event of a crash. I love the pads!

Great value with good protection. Definitely much better than nothing. And I used to ride with nothing until I got hurt. The point is to not get hurt doing dangerous things safely. So I got me the x3 elbow and knee pads. Simply put I feel more confident knowing I have some protection in exposed areas and having had a crash or two since. I know they do their job too. The knee pads stay on really well and if they shift around it’s very, very minimal. I haber the had a single issue with them moving around or off from where I left them at before the pants came on. 3-5 hr rides and they’re pretty comfortable. The rubber strip really grabs. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend or buy more of these if needed. They’ve been treating me very well and I know I have protection if a ... MoreGreat value with good protection. Intended use: XC and Down country. The goal was to find protection that allows for pedaling and attacking the hills and flat sections while offering enough protection when washing out or shaving a tree a bit too close. Hopefully, it would also save me from minor drops and jump mistakes. At first the product felt like answering the requirements, was flexible, held position (on the knee), and provided protection against heavy tree brushing. However, after 5-6 rides, it starts not to hold in place anymore, and there is nothing more annoying than that. Kind of pulling your socks up every minute while running!!!. I wish they would have provided a micro adjustment to tight up the "deformation" of the gear. I still ride them, I am in about 15 rides with them, and clean ... MoreIntended use: XC and Down country. If it held over time, it would be a 4.5 star in my book, but it is a 2.5 at this time!

So far no issues. First time I put them on and tested them.First I kneed a solid concrete wall.Zero pain. Then I kneed a brick corner several times.Zero pain.Without them I'd be unable to walk for at least 2 weeks and be on crutches. Yup, did those two tests accidentally. I know.
I ride in the Arizona desert, very hot, rocky and dry. When I ordered these I was concerned that they would be very uncomfortable but after several rides thes elbow pads stay put and I forget that I have them on. They evaporate moisture throughout the ride and stay cool after several hours of riding in the heat. The Samrt Flex padding in the elbow and forearm area will give some minor protection to both impact and brushing off on thorny trees and bushes. The size that I chose fit as the chart claimed. I have been very satisfied thus far and also have the G-Form Pro Guard Knee pads. I would recommend these to a friend.
The Gform Pro X3's are so far my favorite elbow pads. They are light, breathe decently and offer the just right mix of protection and flexibility. They tend to stay in place well with the provided grippers inside even on extended DH runs.
Knee protection seems great. The goal is never fall, but you know how that goes. I had to go to a medium to get it to fit, and it still feels not totally tight on my knees. I'm 6' 165lbs male. The protection area does get smaller with the medium size vs the larger ones which is a bit of a bummer. But they are very comfortable and you would not have any issue riding with these bad boys on. Would be great if they had a strap on the top to tighten it, may have to find an aftermarket strap...Comfort - 5/5Sizing - 3/5Protection - 3/5Coolness- 4/5Overall - 4/5
I used these for mountain biking and it was my first time riding out there, and let me tell you.... I was very happy I used these due to a wipe out I had. They held up to the impact and I slid a good 10-12 feet. After wiping them off, they were no damage to the Knee pad at all. They also are very comfortable and didn't notice I was wearing them during the ride.Highly recommended!
Not sure if it’s just me, but I seem to land on my elbows a lot and bump against trees. I now wear these on every ride even if it looks a bit weird. Wear them even on 95 degree humid days and they don’t bother me even after a 22 hour epic. They protect me from the brambles too. East coast rock crawl rider so slow and ungainly falls doing tech stuff. Elbows are in a much better state than they would have been. I have skinny arms. 135lbs, 5’-10”. Small is a tight fit but they don’t move after I’ve got them on. Had medium and they slipped down which was really irritating.
