I've had this keyboard a bit over a year now and use it daily for both PC gaming and WFH. (disclaimer: child/pet-free household so can't speak to its durability in more risk-prone conditions)Functionally, it's still as responsive and clicky-claky as the day I got it. The paint on the WASD keys have a bit of visible wear on the edges from overuse (see picture) but have otherwise held up far better than past keyboards I've owned. The Q/W/E/R/F/, 1-9/0 and F1-F12 keys are still near-perfect condition despite the force at which I panic-spam them on some unfortunate occasions. All the keycaps are easily replacable though so ultimately not an issue! The only real dysfunction of this keyboard is that it sometimes takes a second or so for the backlights to turn on when ... I'll be buying a 2nd one soon when/if I'm forced into a hybrid in-office schedule.

Keyboards don’t go bad very often, but when you need a new one, you want the best you can find. The Logitech PRO Gaming Keyboard fills that need perfectly. The keyboard arrived, packed very nicely in an outer retail sleeve, along with a very sleek inner black cardboard box. Wrapped in clear plastic, the keyboard arrived with its own detachable USB cable connector, a Logitech sticker, and some printed instructions. Setting up the keyboard was extremely easy. Unwrapping the plastic sleeve, I observed that the USB cable was keyed to allow for a very secure connection into the keyboard itself. Five rubber pads underneath the keyboard were affixed to help provide secure placement on a computer desk. The unit also features two recessed and extendable riser legs to adjust the height of the keyboard for comfort. This model’s keys rise prominently from the top of the keyboard, allowing for good placement of the user’s fingertips. Each key depresses with a satisfying click, a feature not too commonly found in most keyboards today. Most notably, each key on the keyboard is backlit with multi-color LED’s, giving an aesthetically pleasing glow in low light conditions, also enabling the user to visually identify the correct keys when hunting for a specific character or function. Additional Logitech software is available to help the user customize LED colors with infinite options. Dual functionality with PC’s and Mac computers offers maximum compatibility across industry platforms, making this product viable for just about every customer out there. Plugging the unit into my computer, the keyboard went through an OS-guided automatic setup process which was not only fast and painless, but effective as well - no additional drivers or software was needed to begin using this input device immediately. After putting this keyboard to use for a few days straight, here are my conclusions:Pros: Very comfortable, easy to find the home keys, solid feel, satisfying click sound, excellent key positioning, compact, LED lighting.Cons: No additional USB ports; have to ensure you have a USB hub or free USB ports to add a mouse or other input devices.Verdict: A nice, highly recommended keyboard for the gamer or casual user. Will not disappoint!

Wow! THIS is the keyboard I've always wanted. From literally EVERY SINGLE LED being addressable to any color (even the logo, indicator, and mode lights!) and unlimited customizability that can be changed on the fly to the wonderful snappy and responsive GX blue switch clicky keys (I’m old enough to have grown up loving the old responsive IBM clicky keyboards and this is just a beautiful). Nice weight and really solidly constructed. This is one impressive and beautiful keyboard that is just a pleasure to type on and use. Every time I use it, I just can’t stop being fascinated by what it can do and how well it does it.This works through the Logitech G Hub interface which works with many of their products (I also have their gaming headset). It's really easy to reassign keys is ultra-simple to use and includes many preset animations if you’re just looking for some visual entertainment. I so love the echo effect where it lights up keys you've pressed in another color and then slowly fades back to the default... it's just incredibly beautiful! And it includes a whole kit to make my own custom animations with an ultra-simple point/click and drag and drop interface! What just threw me for another level is that it also has a reactive audio light show! Basically, the whole keyboard acts as a customizable nine band audio spectrum analyzer.Hehe, this whole time and I’ve not even mentioned how helpful it is to mark my gaming hotkeys and layouts. No more wondering what’s mapped where when I can custom color code it for quick reference.I LOVE THIS KEYBOARD!
I have rarely ordered a product that was so far from what I expected as this keyboard!1. It has backlit keys that could be cool, if only they didn't have a slow flash and constant color changing rather than just sticking to one solid color. Alas, they do change all the time, and this would make it extremely distracting if I actually had to look at the keys to type. If you turn the lights off, no letter markings are visible. That's not a problem for me since I can touch-type (type without looking at the keys), but for the many who need to see them? Enjoy the constant, distracting light show! As for gaming, it will be hard to concentrate on the game with this thing trying to outdo it.2. There's no number pad (numpad)! What even is this?!? I find my finger seeking ... As for gaming, it will be hard to concentrate on the game with this thing trying to outdo it.2. There's no number pad (numpad)! What even is this?!? I find my finger seeking those numbers every time I try to type one, only to find myself limited to the awkward, slow-to-type, row of them across the top. When I chose this keyboard, it never even crossed my mind to look for whether or not there was a numpad on it!! The idea of there not being one is too outlandish!2a. This is billed as the "Pro Gaming Keyboard," but ironically, I will not be able to play one of my games with it because the game in question needs the numpad! I know that there are actually separate numpads available for sale, but I'll never buy one like that. Instead, I'll continue to choose proper keyboards, which have them as part of their design.3. It's intentionally WAY too loud! The box even brags about the "clicky" keys. I already hate that part the most. Soft clicks would actually be nicer than silence, but not this over-the-top banging sound. If you like to play your games while everyone else is sleeping or relaxing, you can FORGET IT with this thing.About the only good thing about this keyboard is that it types, and can handle it even at high speeds. Even the distance between the key rows is just a little off, and the keys themselves are just a tad smaller than expected, causing me to make several typos that I ordinarily wouldn't.Normally I like Logitech products because they're good basic workhorses, but sad to say, this keyboard is a miss. I'll be switching back to my usual Logitech model as soon as I finish submitting this review, and this keyboard will be relegated to "emergency spare" status.
I was sent a Logitech GX Blue Clicky Pro Keyboard to review. I only dabble with gaming, but my 16-year-old grandson spends most days gaming so my review will be a combination of what I see with the keyboard and what he has shown and told me. I will start by saying that this is the fastest and best gaming keyboard that my grandson has ever played on. The first thing that he said when we plugged it in and played on it was OMG grandma check this out. Ok, so before I say more of what he said I am going to give a few things that I saw myself right away. This is a smaller keyboard measuring about 14” wide by 6”. The first thing that he said when we plugged it in and played on it was OMG grandma check this out. Ok, so before I say more of what he said I am going to give a few things that I saw myself right away. This is a smaller keyboard measuring about 14” wide by 6”. It has everything that a normal keyboard has except all the numbers on the right side which aren’t needed for gaming. What this does is allow for a much more comfortable experience while gaming because your hands and arms are at more of a normal distance from the keys to mouse. It also takes up less room on your desk or play area. From my picture you can see the bottom of the keyboard which has 4 non-slip 1 1/4"x 1” rubbery feet. They keep the keyboard in place and there is no sliding around. There are 2 adjustable legs 1 3/4"x 1” to set the rear of the keyboard to 3 different angles or keep flat so I can change it based on what I find comfortable. The 6’ cable has 2 prongs by the connector that keep the cord firmly plugged into the back of the keyboard. When I plug in the keyboard it has changing/flashing colors as you can see from my other picture. By pressing the power key with numbers 1-5 I can change the keys from fast changing to slower, set to a solid color, or turn off completely. The little button that looks like a joystick is to turn off or on the windows button. This is a real asset because when playing you don’t want to bump that windows key, or the windows box will turn on. With that button turned off you can play without worrying about it. The clicky sound of the blue switches is really something that a lot of gamers like including my grandson. He says it adds to the gaming experience and lets him know that he has hit the keys as he goes. The keys themselves are full sized for finger placement, which is important for hitting the W, A, S, D keys and keeping his fingers in place. My grandson said that this keyboard is extremely fast with extremely minimal reaction time (1 ms)so he is able to game much faster and much more accurately. It is so much faster than he had before that the people that he games with have actually noticed how much his scores have increased and his accuracy has gone up. As he says, “having the right equipment to game makes all the difference”, and this keyboard is a game changer.
This corded keyboard is definitely for gamers. I'm not a gamer, and I ended up with this because I liked the style of it but didn't realize it was a dedicated gaming keyboard. With that said, this is very stylish, and the look and feel of it is fun while still maintaining a sleek appearance. It's heavier than a standard computer which makes sense. It has lighting and components for gaming accommodations. There were no instructions available. I got some questions info from their FAQ. I wanted to know if you could turn off the light's animation. You turn it on, and the lights do a sweeping motion across the keyboard. You can turn the lights off, but not the motion of the lights themselves. I was disappointed by that. I love the way it looks, but the colors moving all the time were very distracting. I also didn't care for the fact that without the lighting, it was hard to see the letters on the keyboard. The keys are also very loud when pressed. Which I know is a common trait for gaming keyboards due to it being a diff type and to accommodate the speed. But if you're getting this to be used when you're in the room with a roommate or public area, just know that it won't be quiet. The size seems perfect for someone who is short on desk space or wants something they can put into their lap.
Have had this keyboard for about a month or two now to replace a Razer keyboard. It is definitely worth the investment, as the keys feel tactile and are not nearly as "mushy" feeling as the Razer linear optical keys. Keystrokes are precise and feel good. The App for the RGB and key programming is quick and simple to use, probably limited in RGC customization compared to Razer, but its still enough to make it your own if you so choose. Really like the one click button to turn off the RGB completely if it starts to become annoying.Would highly recommend this keyboard, Logitech has a good name in the gaming industry right now and this keyboard could convert me completely over to their line!
I like this keyboard because of its size, function (responsive), and keys. I was pleasantly surprised that the clickiness is not as loud as I expected it to be. Compared to my previous 910 keyboard, this one sounds about as loud. However, one feature I missed on it is its lack of wireless connectivity. I did not think it would be a big deal, and would probably prefer to use it wired for many reasons, but I still want the option to unplug it and move it more. It's also not the easiest to clean. I was between this keyboard and another $200 one, but at the price, this is one of the best mechanical keyboards out there.PROS: Size, responsiveness, RGB Lighting, GX Switch, detachable wire, back pads, comfortable, sleekCONS: No wireless option, difficult to clean
The keyboard is solidly built and has some weight to it. Each key is responsive and spaced enough not to feel cramped. The only absence is a numbered keypad found on the far right of most keyboards. Other than that, it seems all the regular keys are accounted for. The keys light up in a multitude of colors and can be shut off with a touch of a button. I find this a wonderful and unique feature that I've never seen before. The negative features are several. The colors don't seem configurable. It would have been nice to have them all in one color. There was no manual, so the possibility of making them all one color is not known. And when you turn the lighting off, the key markings are difficult to see because they are so faded. And when you turn the lighting off, the key markings are difficult to see because they are so faded. There is a key with the icon of a joystick that disabled the windows keys during gaming sessions. The purpose of this key was not readily apparent and did require some investigation on the internet.Another drawback is the keys are a bit loud, almost reminiscent of a typewriter. This could get annoying if other people are in the room. I'm assuming the loudness will not affect those using this with a gaming headset that blocks interior sounds. I enjoyed it!Overall, the keyboard is well made, it has a few annoyances, but if you are looking for something that can take the pounding of long gaming sessions, this certainly fits the bill. And although it has some negatives, I think it will be useful to gamer's once they get the hang of it. So, for those reasons, I do recommend you give it a try.
