This is genuinely a stylish G Shock model. I made the foolish mistake of selling it several years ago and bought a smart watch. When I viewed this watch online again, I realized that I had to get it back into my collection. The mirror finish and the purple and black color really work so well together. I bought this watch as a "Pre-Owned", but it was well maintained. I cleaned it up and it looks great, almost like new. I remember why I loved it the first time I got it. Now it is staying in my permanent collection.

I collect watches not because of their value or what is fashionable out there, I wish I had the lifestyle to buy the big boy toys, but reality is I simply like watches. I have a few (so I tell the wife) and they range from Seiko's, breitlings, tags, citizens & Spinnaker's Not mention a handful of Casio G-Shocks so it's an eclectic collection. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder and Casio is that. I like the blackness and the understated features of this simple analogue/hybrid watch. It's simplicity pleases me for a day to day watch and hence I wanted it. My only negative is that it's a bit smaller than I like if was 41mm or 42mm I would give it 5star all the way. Great value for money and really cheap for a great watch.

Really good watch. Straight out the box very pleased.The hands are a lot easier for seeing rather than the all black which I had previously, also a fantastic watch.The date area is very difficult to read which is a let down. They should have used a lighter background rather than the negative. You can move the hands by pressing the light and "Mode" which moves the hands should they obscure the date area, then you can simply move them back.The glow in the dark is really good and you can give it a quick charge by a lightbulb or natural light which lasts all night. Very readable in the dark.The wristband is comfortable and the whole thing simply works as it should do. I wear mine literally 24/7 it rarely leaves my wrist.The days of the week is much better to see ... MoreReally good watch. Major positive: £60 ish for a genuine Casio G-ShockNegatives: Pick up at store delivery two days late. No guarantee card filled in. No protective covering on watch face / back - so was it a return or ex-display? Took a few attempts to set the time. Cheap and nasty stiff plastic strap.Positives: Appears to be in as new condition. Does what it says on the 'can' - comes in a G-Shock tin. 200mt water resistant so suitable for watersports and tough construction. Excellent price. Once the strap is changed very nice watch.
Received watch swiftly and safely and at the best sale price I’ve seen online. Condition ok but not perfect, missing some packaging, no manual (not sure if there is supposed to be one or not) and no film on back and front as i’d expect. Possibly display model, possibly a return. Definitely worn before in some capacity.Also, nasty sticker on case back. It took 15 mins to get the glue off with methylated spirits. Can’t believe Casio would add that, but maybe. If it’s from retailer - this should be addressed.At that price I’m happy to keep and I love this watch.
I purchased the GA 2100 1AER & 1A1ER,because I wasn't sure which I would prefer. In the end I decided to keep both,but the black "Stealth Watch" although looks good it is mostly impossible to read,so overall the grey dial watch is the better of the two.Overall,the watches are nice enough but not as impressive as the online hype and reviews make out,but it is excellent value for money.Main drawbacks:Fiddly to set up and operate and not efficient if you need to use some of the functionality. Entry level steel G-Shock it's what it is. I love the crazy detail of the watch if you look closely. It's a G - Shock so I won't get into the quality of the components etc, instead - I'll share the feelings I have towards it. Call me weird but this is my Monday watch, when I need that little bit of patting on the back (or writst, lol). It goes perfectly with semi casual outfit as well as blends in nicely with sport t-shirts. It's an eye catcher, too. It has a bit of luxurious hint to it despite being a budget timepiece, which is a bonus obviously. In general it is my second G-Shock and I am sure the family will get bigger in time!

The only downside of this watch is that the LED digits are extremely small and dark to see, making it necessary to angle the watch against the ambient light to read them. However, the important part is that the watch keeps superb time and I'm able to wear it when I'm in the water.On another note: thank you to Watch Direct for a superb service. I ordered the watch Thursday around noon, received a message that afternoon to say the watch has been dispatched, received the watch the following Monday - couldn't ask for a better service. An attractive design, solid construction, not absurdly large (as so many G-shocks can be), not laughably over-designed and festooned in bolt-heads, comfortable to wear, and both looks and feels more expensive than it is.
