G-Shock DW6900MS-1

Excellent watch for those who work out. I bought this because of its countdown timer mainly, which also can vibrate as the time runs out. This is useful for timing the rest periods in the gym, as a beep is difficult to hear aometimes over the music. And of course if you play your own music through headphones, the vibration is definitely essential. It is strong enough to remind you that the timer is done, even if your wear the strap a bit loose. I can imagine for some, using a vibrating alert is useful in situations were discretion is important, such as not wanting to wake someone asleep next to you, or even in a business meeting. From Singapore to the UK took about two weeks. As the company is based outside of the EU, you’ll probably have to pay import VAT, and aometimes, import custom duty (different things). Royal Mail usually charge an admin fee for this, and this is unavoidable. Still, the watches here are often cheaper than in the UK by a long way, so it’s worth it. Especially if you want something a bit unusual. Recommended.

I’m crazy about the G-Shock #MudMaster, but the right one coasts too much for plastic watch. This one has the most important travel features: it looks chunky and great (Bear Grylls great), it’s resistant to water (200m) and to almost anything your hands are resistant to. Also it shows time, and is easily switchable to another timezone. Never needs another battery if you show it some sun. The “Blackout Look” is a very nifty touch, but sometimes makes it hard to see the time right away: need to find the right angle ... bit it’s a keeper!

Best G-shock

This model is the best among g-shock . EL light with tough solar complete the model. Not so big not so small perfect shape . G switch is the best , dont have to look for tiny switch in the right corner so auto light can be turned off for battery efficiency. There are other gshock can offer more features but have to compromise EL light or the size of the watch . To me these features are important so this model is good with the marked price . One more thing not to mention is the multiband , this model doesnt have that and it ok for me as I adjust with atomic watch from internet and trust me in years it wont change the time for a second. Black out, yes very much so...

DW 6900MS 1CR model 1289 Impossible to tell the time at a glance, you basically have to look at your watch and then adjust your wrist to see the time, if your lucky and you are not in low light. I have a cheap Chinese S shock with the same black LCD that is much easier to read. Choose a different G shock model unless you truly want this particular military look, but keep in mind the sun still reflects of the screen like a mirror no matter what model you choose. Get the new module 3230 the calendar is updated to work till 2099 not 2039 like the older mod. and you can see it too!!!

Lets start with what I've put my G-Shock through: Rock climbing, Raft guide/Swimming rapids, Painting[watch was covered in paint], Sand from various trips to the beach and laying in it while shooting, Scraped against rough pool walls, Search and Rescue, Various sports- Soccer, Wrestling, Ski accidents, Mountain climbing, High temperatures and Freezing weather. In short I don't treat it nicely, not out of neglect but high activity.I just purchased my second G-shock, the first lasted about 2.5 years before the battery died. I replaced the watch band about 4-5 times before finding a sturdy one with metal parts. The watch itself has remained intact. The battery is special made for G-Shock, in order to replace it you must send the watch to G-shock. This is the only reason I purchased a new one, so as to avoid the shipping hassle.To sum it up, G-Schock is a bomb proof watch and totally worth the normal price. If you can find it for $45 its a steal.

Loved Them

This is the 4th G Shock I’ve owned. I have enjoyed having them all. They have all worked great. The last 3 have been DW6900. I can wear them anywhere and anytime. They stand up to hard work, exercising, and swimming. They will last for years.One thing I would point out to possible buyers or owners is that when you need to replace the battery, be careful, whether you replace battery yourself or take it to a watch repair shop, if the rubber gasket is not put back in correctly, it will allow water into watch and it will be ruined. But the original battery lasts for many years.

Perfect

This is a fantastic G-Shock. Packed with Tough Solar and Multi Band 6 Atomic Timekeeping. Always accurate and the battery will last longer than the watch probably will! The best version on the 6900 family, comfortable and great looking. This is a perfect every day watch, it's not "in your face" due to the colour being black with grey writing. The solar panels on the watch face look awesome, a bit like Tron light cycles trails! Well recommended for any G-Shock fan or even if you're not. Perfect all round watch. You will not be disappointed if you choose this one.
