Was hoping this watch would be similar to the first G shock but it is not. It doesn’t even light up when you turn your wrist.

great watch, the 3rd to my g-shock collection.
The only thing that prevents me from giving this watch a perfect rating is the fact that it is not comfortable to wear. There are two hard plastic "wedges" where the wristband meets the watch, and they cut into my wrist bones especially if the wristband is tighter than "too loose" and/or if I lay on my wrist in bed.
This is a great watch I love it!
Was sick and tired of my Samsung Gear S3 and needing to charge it every night. New GShock looks great, still get my step count and ultra long battery life!
