I bought this metal Casio a few weeks ago. It is just beautiful. The dial is surprisingly easy to read, and the ToughSolar works like a charm. The bracelet is very easy to fit straight out of the box with a typical SIM pin.This watch is just beautiful

Finally got my 'Casio grail' - I already own (and love!) the resin version of this but wanted the luxury feel of the full metal model. Managed to try one on in H Samuel and the very patient sales lady spent ages with me ensuring I was happy with the fit. In fact, despite being a large watch, it's actually more comfortable on the wrist than my resin version (which surprised me). The fit and finish is superb as is the high quality bracelet with a milled clasp and plenty of micro adjustment. The only (slight) negative is it can be hard to read in certain lights but it does have decent lume (including the indices on this model) and a good double LED light. Pairs easily with the app, adding a second watch was easy enough and it synched perfectly with it. This will be my ... In my opinion certainly this is beautiful well crafted watchBut there is a big problem with the watch design -can not see hand and indices and it is dark you can't see time which is most important thing for any watch to read the time and that is whole and main purpose of the any watch and one of the fundamental horological watch making principlesDesigner like headless checked made a huge mistake by making watch look like a dark faced smart watchWhat an idiotic design!I am in the process of writing to top executives at Casio in Japan about thisWasted my time and caused me lot of inconvenienceFelt sorry to return this watch

Good quality and good looking watch.Quick transaction and delivery.Cons:The dial and hands are too dark which make it difficult to read the time.Suggestion:It would be nice if Casio produce this metal models with brighter and maybe colourful dials.
The watch itself is excellent, well designed and beautifully finished. The mobile phone connection is a different matter, this model of watch is not listed and consequently the watch is not automatically updated meaning l have to spend time doing it manually. Hopefully this will be fixed soon as it is a new model of watch.
My first g shock, and I've mixed feelings.GoodAll metalGreat looks and feel on the wristGreat functions (see bad)BadPoor legality in anything but bright daylight.Awfull app takes 3 to 4 attempts to connect.On balance its OK but would need to be convinced to get another g shock.
The watch feels like us should for the the price I’d even say it feels more premium than the price. The metal is brushed perfectly and feels nice and robust. The look is pretty versatile and can suit both casual and more dressed up looks.
Purchased on of these and even after leaving the watch on the windowsill for a week it did not get to full charge but the most annoying thing was that the hands and baton marker were totally invisible in a dark room. They weren’t particularly visible in daylight either. VERY DISAPPOINTED! As sending the watch back to the supplier.
Well built, like all G-Shock watches. The only downside is the dial’s less than ideal legibility, especially in poor lighting conditions. I assume the design concept was “stealth”, however, the rest of the watch is far from “stealthy”. The polishing methods used make the bracelet and case visible from afar. Considering this, the dial could’ve used some more contrast. Perhaps something as simple as white hands and markers.
The all steel dark casioak moves more in the direction of good looks than absolute practicality for the following reasons; not so great legibility in poor lighting conditions, you'll need to use the lighting button to get a reading, ditto the digital display. But this is the stealthy version of the more blingy models and I was prepared for that compromise - very happy. The price at watch direct was the best for the oz market, so a great buy.
