A great looking watch but you need to have your wits about you when purchasing from platforms like eBay! The reason being the GG-1000 is the most copied G-Shock ever. Counterfeiters will sell you a very convincing copy of a GG-1000 in a genuine-looking tin and even a kosher-looking handbook. They dont tend to include the cardboard box or warranty card. Features to check: poor backlight, fast-moving function dial, poor or no lume on the hands, inaccurate compass, blurry dial features, etc. Check YouTube for a comparison! Watch has now been superseded by the GG-B100 but this piece - to my eye - looks better.

Absolutely love this watch, from the excellent packaging to the look and features. It sits well on my small -medium wrist, the band is quite comfortable, and for it's size it doesn't feel heavy. If I have one small gripe with it, it's the fact that the date is displayed as month then day, as I would prefer day first, then month. Apart from that it's an awesome watch. Very happy with the purchase, and quick shipping.

Great Watch. I have wanted this Casio G Shock watch for some time. It was worth the wait. The wristband has a comfortable adjustable strap. I can read the day, date, and time. Has a button to push for illumination at night. It is stylish to me and very good in any environment. It has large easy to read 12, 3, 6, and 9 numbers. World time if needed. The watch is on the larger side. It fits under my long sleeve polos I wear. A+++

First off I absolutely love the way it looks, as with most watches pictures just don't do it justice. It has all the features you'd expect from a g shock plus the added dual sensor with a compass and thermometer. There is a more expensive triple sensor version of this watch, that has solar charging as well as a altimeter and barometer, but for about twice the price this one fit my budget a lot better. The solar charging would have been nice, but the altimeter and barometer I probably would never use. I have a 7 inch wrist and it fits me perfectly, if you have a smaller wrist I probably wouldn't recommend this, there are smaller g shocks that would fit a ... The lcd screens are very clear and easy to read, I love having the dual display as well. If you are looking for a really nice gadget watch but don't want to spend the $600 to $700 on the triple sensor version, I would highly recommend this piece, or maybe check out the gravity master which is also a great looking watch for around the same price as this.
The Mudmaster GG1000 is one of the iconic G Shocks made to date. It's extremely rugged and very readable thanks to it's positive display of the sub dials. The lume on this watch is pretty good as well. The light works good enough but is nothing to brag about. In short, if you are wanting/needing a very rugged yet stylish watch that will last for many years, get this one. I own about 28 G Shocks and this a a perfect daily watch, very comfortable and light.

I have a serious problem destroying watches. This one can take a beating. The crystal is recessed and will help avoid smashing it during work or motorcycle riding. I have destroyed two watches while unfortunately dumping my motorcycles. It happens when you ride as much as I do. Not the most comfortable, but gets better after several days of wearing it, the band has to break in and mold to your wrist. Another problem I have had with watches is water leakage and poor time keeping over a period of months. This one doesn't leak and keeps perfect time. If you are as rugged as I am, this watch is good. The watch is big, so if you have a dainty wrist, I would think twice. Has a light so good for dark nights.

It has no solar power,it has no atomic timekeeping,it has no barometer,no tide graph,no moon phase,no depth or altimeter reader...really? For this much money? The negative display is the worst i've ever seen on a watch,you cant even read the lcd's cause its so dark,whats the point!!! So under most light conditions forget about being able to see the date,temp,stopwatch,alarms, you even gotta hope to see past the hands if they're covering the lcd's. I cant honestly say "buy this" but I don't regret paying $200 for it. Your better off going to the store and looking at it for yourself.....Did I just slam this thing?
