G-Shock steel

At last G-shock have made a range that feels (and looks grown-up and office appropriate! The last premium model I bought £350 was their first HR monitor version, which was unusuable as a purpose made smartphone app had been been tested enough and wouldn't sync to the phone. I ended up buying a Garmin then.However, 3 years on and was very impressed by this new (and very reasonably priced) range of steel (gold colour), carbon and plastic range. It may not have all the active lifestyle functions but I'm over those now and simply wanted a time piece that was still rugged and yet elegant enough to wear with shirts at work. Only point the G - Shock assistant told me in the store was not to wear it in the shower as the components do response well in hot water. Fine

Nice watch, easy to use. Have bluetooth compatible with smart phone for easy operation. Great value for money. I am really enjoying it

Great watch that mixes work and play

Great looking, solid watch that looks great and is functional. Fits well on the wrist and is comfortable.Delivery was quick and come in great condition.

Nice but Overpriced

The gold coloured coating on this watch is of the PVD type rather than the more detailed Ion Plating (IP) which offers better adhesion and durability. Even so I'm sure it will look great for years to come. Works well with the app and my only real gripe is the price on this site - far to high if no discount is offered.

Highly legible dial, very easy to use Bluetooth pairing feature which allows watch operation via an intuitive Smart phone app and synchronises the time automatically. Very comfortable and the amazing practicality of a solar movement. Perpetual calendar. This is a very attractive and practical watch with legendary G-SHOCK ruggedness. At this price it's an absolute bargain.

Review of G-Steel B500 Series 46.6mm Slim Watch

I am very pleased with my G-Steel. I had reservations as to whether the gold tone would be too blingy, but that has not been the case at all in my opinion, the gold tone being a matt colour.The 46.6mm case size is the entire width, the actual face is about 43mm, so wears very well, given the slim case and lug to lug dimensions.Happy with the first time buying experience with Francis & Gaye, signing up and tracking the next day delivery with DPD, a bonus if you have the DPD app.

Weekender

Exactly what I needed for my weekend watch. A lot of Gshocks are quite chunky, and while this one is not slim, it’s much less chunky and is good for pretty much any casual occasion. The solar power is great (I won’t buy battery powered any more!). My one small complaint is that the lack of contrast for the hour markers does make it a little harder to read in low light, but the built in light solves that problem with a single press.
