This seems like a good kit. I was able to get 2 DIMMs to 6200 stable at 1.35v on ASUS z690 ROG gaming-E with updated bios. Trained during first post to 4800, and xmp enabled at 6000 fine. This is my first attempt at memory OC, so Im sure they can be pushed further and that I just lack experience at this point. I actually had 4 DIMMs up to 5800 but decided I was okay with 32 gigs until DDR5 advanced a little more and then Id probably swap out entirely. Keep in mind that DDR5 runs in quad channel with 2 DIMMs, so 4 is pretty pointless (for gaming, at least). I prefer a good product over RGB. If it comes with it, Ill take it. However, its not a must have. I actually really like the way these look without it and dig the trident Z design. Overall, this was a good kit for ... MoreThis seems like a good kit. XMP/EXPO sub/secondary timing on this kit are pretty loose. you can tighten them up a lot. tRAS can easily go down from 96 to 28, for example, even with the new AM5 lower voltage limits. attached a picture of my settings and voltages. i can probably tighten the up some more but at this point the benefits aren't worth the possible stability issues.i've installed a few of these kits in the various systems i built. you don't need 1.4V that these are configured with from the factory. it should run fine at 1.35V even when OCed. 1.3V is doable depending on your luck with the silicon lottery

Acceptable Kit.. I guess..

I got this kit and one of the LEDs on one of the sticks didn't work. So I returned it and got a replacement. But heads up!! I noticed on forums people are complaining about this exact RAM kit dying after 3 - 4 months. So I decided to get a 2 years warranty just in case. My kit happens to be Samsung so we'll see what happens in the future. So far I've had it for about a month.Other than that RAM works just fine and I even managed to get tighter timings. Both XMP profiles work as well on Asus Prime Z790-A. I would advise getting a different DDR5 6000mhz kit if you don't plan on getting warranty from Microcenter.I've tried TeamGroup T-Force 32GB DDR5 CL32 6000mhz but it would not work on my setup no matter what. I built a new pc and when I first got it running I did a memtest86 on the ram. It came back with over 4700 errors. I've just had to send gpu for rma and now this. A lot of times there is no display. If I unplug gpu and run from motherboard I/o it usually works but forget about gaming with an igu. Im not sure if the ram corrupted the gpu update or what. I just bought new ram so if my problem still persists, I'll change my review. I've bout g skill 6 times now and while I needed to rma one set I put it off. But gonna send both in. Not Ready for the mainstream at 6600
26 September 2022

Purchased the G Skill Trident Z5 DDR5 memory to mount in my new MEG Z690 Godlike MOBO. This was the only DDR5 RAM at 6600 that was ready for the MOBO. From the get go I was having problems with the RGB lighting using the MSI center and was unable to get the RGB lighting to work without having to reset the software to maintain the lighting as desired. Have been unable to achieve a successful stress test on the new PC. After running a test on the RAM it was discovered that the RAM had 4 errors. There are many reason why the stress test could have failed. The RAM runs at 1.4V out of the box with XMP enabled. I believe the RAM needs a little more proving or for other parts to catch up. The CPU being used for the PC is a I9 12900KS which runs very hot by its self. The ... MorePurchased the G Skill Trident Z5 DDR5 memory to mount in my new MEG Z690 Godlike MOBO. Not all DDR5 from G.skill is created equal

5 eggs for this particular set of DDR5 G.skill 6000mhz CL36. This is my second set of this exact ram from G.skill. I purchased my first set in December at higher prices and regret that decision as the ram wasn't stable. It ran XMP profile fine but would crash while gaming or would throw memory errors above 50C. A lot of people complaining about early adoption of DDR5 blaming it on the motherboard or its bios but I would find certain people who had no problems whatsoever with this ram. So it got me thinking. IT'S PROBABLY THE RAM and not my bios! So I purchased the exact same G.skill ram right here on Newegg and it's running perfect! I haven't had to adjust any voltages in Bios, it just runs XMP auto settings. Now if you want to overclock your (already overclocked memory) above 6000mhz then you are absolutely going to need an aftermarket cooling solution to achieve stability above 6000mhz. I am perfectly happy finally getting the advertised XMP Profile of 6000mhz 36-36-36-76 at 1.3v. This review is for 2x16gb. For users with 4x16gb, you have other problems as running 4 sticks (64GB) has its own issues entirely.

Super solid.
23 October 2023

Assuming that your board can run it with XMP II (vendor timings), incredibly solid ram for most workloads if you want to set it to XMP II and forget it. Paired with a 4090/13900K, hit 70fps in CP2077 w/ OD (Path tracing).I didn't have much luck overclocking it on an Asus ProArt z790 board - even to 6400mz.I recently upgraded to 7600mhz RAM which required custom voltages, isn't as stable, and only benefits a specific workload. Unless you want bragging rights or are doing some non-gaming memory intensive work, stick with this.

Purchased several months back. Initially was only able to get these stable at 6000mhz on the ASUS B650E-F ROG STRIX GAMING WIFI.Recently updated to the latest BIOS 1807 (I updated when I first purchased but was several revisions back).Either the BIOS update or enabling the 2nd Memory Context Restore and the memory is running at rated speed.Originally I had AI Tweaker | DRAM Timing Control | Memory Context Restore: EnabledI also enabled: Advanced | AND CBS | UMC Common Options | DDR Options | DDR Memory Features | Memory Context Restore: Enabled
