Purchased this RAM to upgrade a friend's All-in-one PC. The original stick failed, so this was the best choice hands down. Not only did we double his RAM we also replaced his hard drive. Great performance, test came back good. Will definitely buy again!

I perfer G.Skill over all other brands of ram as price to performce is spot on.I bought the g.skill ripjaws ddr4 16gb 2x8 2666 for my Asus fx504gm-es74 gaming laptop.I7-8750H256gb m.21 tb seagate firecudaNvidia Gtx 1060 6gbThe G.skill ram replaced the single stick of samsung factory memory of ddr4 2666 16gb 1x8.The G.skill now running in dual channel mode has made a big difference in the way this laptop runs.Playing T C Ghost Recon looks and runs way better since the upgrade.The G.skil ram is great for work or play.

I went in to get the RAM increased on my laptop. After getting conflicting information online as to what my laptop needed and how much it could handle I went to the MicroCenter service department to get their expert opinion. The Technician researched the model and brand and then opened up the laptop to verify how many memory slots were available. He checked his inventory and got me the proper RAM type and speed that my laptop could handle and installed it.The RAM is working great and things are running more smoothly now. I recommend the RAM and MicroCenter's service staff.

I’ve recently upgraded to this 16GB ram set in my Dell Optiplex Micro. I’ve been having issues with slow-downs due to multitasking the daylights out of this machine and this upgrade solved almost all of them. No more lag on app switching and having multiple projects running at the same time is not a problem.
I used to wait 30 sec for the game loading screen...and this game had a lot of loading screens. I got kicked out of multiplayer sessions because people thought I was afk, when I was in the loading screen. This RAM was plug and play...my original RAM was the same clock speed and frequency, no issues out of the package. Now I enjoy 5 second loading screens. What a relief.
My old ASUS ROG ZX came with 8MB and that was fine under Windows 7 for my purpose then. When was that? 2015? A lot has happened over the past 7 years and the old girl was getting grey around her vents.Now, doubling the memory has given her a new pep in her step to where she is once again my main business computer, standing proudly up saying, "big programs? I got this! New game? No problem!"I think I will keep her around a while longer.
I usually buy low RAM items for my wife, and then upgrade them myself with better RAM and SSD. This is an upgrade for my wife, they dropped into the laptop ezey-peezy and now she has a faster booting, smoother operating laptop.She doesn't do a lot of graphic manipulation but she does create power point presentations and does put together virtual labs. The Science part is easy, the frozen program issues were frustrating. With the newer dell and with the memory maxed out - she is one happy Science Teacher.
I've heard lots of issues with ram compatibility with my laptop, but I saw this in stores and figured I'd try it. It worked out of the gate, just released the little pins holding my old 2x4GB kit and got the same frequency, but 16GB this time.Help alot in games and with multitasking, 8GB just doesn't cut it.The only real differences with laptop memory is probably latency and brand, and probably isn't able to be noticed.I don't even know if this kit is officially supported by Dell in this model but it worked so it's fine by me!
I went from 8GB to 16GB. It takes longer to take out the screws on the bottom cover of the laptop than to switch out the ram. I was able to snag an open box about $20.00 dollars cheaper. My laptop now boots in about 13 seconds which is faster than my high end 64GB desktop which boots in 16 seconds. Love G.Skill ram. Thanks Microcenter for this bargain!
a 14" laptop needed new memory so it got 8gb from my 17" & I upgraded to this. now no more "out of memory" errors when I have 20 browser windows open so it is well worth the $50 spent on an open box. installed myself at microcenter to make sure it worked/booted before I brought it home to test. made use of a free 32gb USB coupon as well. microcenter is my choice for for tech.
