Not as fast as it should be. The XMP system for this RAM would not work in one of my motherboards (Gigabyte B450M S2H V2 mATX), and in my other PC (Gigabyte B450 AORUS ELITE ATX) it works but will crash the system randomly. This means I can only use the RAM at its lower default speeds.

This was part of a new pc build. Very happy with the end product that was built at Glenfield road pbtech dept. Fast and looks great with RGB lights.ryzen 5 5600, rx5500, asus tuf-gaming b550,water cooling rgb, 6 fans, 32gb ram, samsung 980 1tb m.2 ,Deepcool case, 600watt psThis my 3rd build done at pb couldn't be happier with service and after sales help.AAA+++

These sticks go real good, 16gb is enough for gaming. Don't forget, when you install these sticks your computer will way underclock them by default - mine set them to 2133 MHz, when they are rated at 3600. You need to install tuning software (normally comes with mobo) and manually overclock this ram up to 3600, works great.

This ram fit perfectly into my Asus ROG STRIX B550-A GAMING motherboard, initially it was only running at 2300mhz or so, however a quick switch to D.O.C.P on my AMD motherboard BIOS, and the ram was up and running at it's full 3600mhz speed. Just be aware that it may take a tweak in the BIOS to get this running to it's full potential. I can recommend this ram. A big update from my old 8gig set.
I want to like this memory kit, but I can't recommend it based on my current experience. I bought the 16GB 3600 to better sync with my Ryzen 3600x CPU, and it appeared at first like it was worth it; after installing the new RAM, booting to the BIOS and changing the speed profile to the D.O.C.P. of 18-22-22-42 and speed of 3600, I restarted and booted into Windows. Upon checking the Windows tools, I saw that I was indeed getting the speed advertised, which was great! Then the problems started. After starting up some programs, I started to notice crashes. Sometimes it would just be a single program, sometimes it would be the entire OS and I would get a blue screen and automatic reboot. I went back to the BIOS, checked my clock speeds were correct, shut down everything ... MoreI want to like this memory kit, but I can't recommend it based on my current experience. Sometimes it would just be a single program, sometimes it would be the entire OS and I would get a blue screen and automatic reboot. I went back to the BIOS, checked my clock speeds were correct, shut down everything and reseated the RAM to make sure it was all correct on the hardware side, then tried again. More crashes. So I went back into the BIOS a third time and removed the D.O.C.P., set everything back to Auto, went back to the default clock speeds and rebooted. Reboot successful, and no crashes from then on. But I was only getting a clock speed of 2133 instead of 3600, because that's apparently the default for DDR4. I ran Windows' Memory Diagnostic to make sure, and sure enough there were hardware issues detected. Just to make sure, I shut everything down again, uninstalled the new RAM and reinstalled my old RAM, and my system booted and is running right now (it's how I'm writing this review in fact) without crashing or any memory errors detected. So like I said at the top, I want to like this memory kit, but I cannot get it to run at a 3600 speed without crashes occurring. It appears that the kit I have is defective and can't run at 3600, since I believe that I eliminated every other potential factor for the issue. My relevant system specs are below if that's helpful to someone else browsing here; (this memory kit is on the QVL for my motherboard, so I know that's not the issue.) Motherboard: ASUS TUF-Gaming B550M-Plus CPU: Ryzen 5 3600x RAM: (well, that's what this is about, isn't is?)
I run lots of tabs and programs at once, and I had to come back for another 8 GB of RAM. This RAM is fast, cheap, and by reputation/experience so far it's good quality. No RGB to add to the cost, just what you need.*Make sure you know how to change your BIOS settings for this RAM or it will NOT run at available speed. I personally had to run it slightly slower than 3600 mhz as this speed caused a bluescreen, but I'm fine with 3570 mhz
Runs fine at 2133 MHz, but once XMP is enabled for 3600 the system becomes unstable with application crashes and blue-screens. Tried standard troubleshooting and tech chat said to bring it back. Going to get replaced when I get a chance, but not something I wanted to have to deal with as the store is not particularly close.
The ram seems OK, for now. It's been working fine for a little under a week. Time will tell if it holds up, some of the other reviews lead me to believe it might not. It does not run at advertised 3600mhz out of the box with my asrock board, but I found out later I should have checked qvl's and whatnot for the best ram to pair with my board/cpu combo. It's running at 3200 pretty well, I'm not knowledgeable enough to adjust the timings and voltages in bios. Half the time a cold boot will enter a loop until the bios defaults to stock settings.. Changing all of my fan and pump settings and the ram to 2133mhz. Probably fine (or even great) with the right cpu/board combo.
Not for X570 motherboards. Not sure for the rest of am 4 motherboards. I had to get two Asrock X570 motherboards to test them. First X570 motherboard was Asrock Phantom gaming 4. Tried to set Xmp and failed to run at those timing speeds. Finally it stopped to work at day 2. Second X570 motherboard was Asrock steel legend. Set the Xmp and it only run the first time. Then it resets to automatic everytime i restart my pc. Newegg will refund these ddr4 memory sticks with stocking fees deducted. Very disappointed with Newegg for not describing this findings and just putting them up at their website just to make a profit.
When you set the RAM speed to 3600 in your BIOS, be sure to also set the voltage to 1.35v, as is shown on the label. UPDATE: dropping review from 5 Eggs to 4 Eggs. The system does not boot reliably at 3600Mhz, even after voltage, enabling XMP, ensuring the latencies are set properly, etc. One in ten boots would fail even with the proper settings. Using the latest bios for my X370 motherboard, and a Ryzen 3600. My solution is just to use a slower clock than advertised: 3200Mhz. Considering that I'm unable to run the RAM at the full 3600Mhz, I'm a bit disappointed: I paid more for 3600Mhz, but now I'm stuck with a slightly overpriced (effectively) 3200Mhz kit that has bad latency compared to the competition.
