Bought two of them for the new Ryzen 5900x build, works fine as dual channel and 3200Mhz once XMP enabled in the motherboard
Disappointed in G.Skill now. Took almost 10 days to receive these. Now I have to wait for them to receive the bad module before they ship me a replacement. 30 days total to receive a working Module.
It works. No heat. No muss fuss or bother. And I have a board that was quite finicky when I bought it. It wouldn't fire up with the stick of memory I had bought for it, not realizing it was supposed to be AMD chip specific. GSkill doesn't have that, or any other issues I can detect.
I don't get why RAM these days has all these sharp metal heat sinks and LEDs and other stuff that just adds to the cost. The metal heat sink on this one works fine, even if it is a little bit over the top. Don't be a straight boy and go for the testerone-drenched RAM, get something that works.
I recommend these memory modules. I can foresee and have experienced no problems. Can't beat it for the price. They're definitely not junk, and like I said y they're cool looking.
Every Star Citizen player will need this at some point, Star Citizen takes up a lot of memory!
