I was worried by the beeps, but I read some forums and powered it on and off a few more times just in case, and it started to work on the third boot. Memtest shows it’s all working at maximum speed, no errors. Computer feels the same for most tasks, obviously, but I can do way more things at once without slowdown or having to close any apps.

I know I said it looks great as a functional piece of hardware, but some proper heat spreaders may have looked nice. I shouldn't complain though. If I really wanted G.Skill DDR4-2400 with a cool design I could've just spent a little extra and bought the ripjaw series. Besides, the heat spreaders don't actually improve performance that much. They just pile onto the price of the RAM card.

Save a few bucks. These memory sticks work great. Heat spreaders are nice looking, but I've never noticed much heat generation from my memory sticks when the case is cooled well.

I've seen this RAM for over 100 at other retailers. I don't know what that's all about. But 70 for it here is right. Don't buy into all the hype of 3333 RAM. DDR4 does not need heat spreaders or need to look fancy. Your girlfriend does not care to oogle the components in your case. No one cares. I bought 8 for 32GB quad channel. I know there's no real world advantage over dual channel, but why not since it supports it. Basically all RAM is the same, just the brand name. There's no point in paying high prices for it. Edit: Speaking of prices, I just bought the last ones of this they had and it's now out of stock. Now the cheapest they list is their Ripjaws at 3000 for the SAME price as this 2400. What's the deal? I wouldn't buy it anyway since I already had 4x of ... MoreI've seen this RAM for over 100 at other retailers. I don't know what that's all about. But 70 for it here is right. Now the cheapest they list is their Ripjaws at 3000 for the SAME price as this 2400. What's the deal? I wouldn't buy it anyway since I already had 4x of this and can't mix them. Also when using it in my Asus X99-A all the bench software says it's in dual channel instead of quad. I mixed them around and then when it says it's in quad, it only registers as 12GB. CPU-Z listed them as quad channel no matter the slots they were in, but I knew when it was in the wrong slots because it would not boot and gave a memory error. I wrote this in my review of the Asus board as well.
I have been buying GSkill for many years, and have had almost no unit failures or issues of any kind, along with great performance. However, I must give 3 eggs here because one of the four DIMMs arrived in a DOA state. The other three function perfectly. As of writing, it has been approximately 75 days since purchase. Product has been in service for approximately 60 days. Unfortunately there seems to be no option to return or replace the defective item, as the Order History displays "Ineligible for return". I was sure when I purchased it, that I saw it had a longer warranty period. This is somewhat disappointing. TL;DR - Great brand of RAM but check the return policy before you buy.
Overall, this is a fairly good RAM kit; for being a 32GB DDR4 kit, this product is extremely cheap compared to other kits out there. This kit isn't high-performance compared to other DDR4 kits available, but the price makes up for this, and performance won't be an issue for most users under most workflows. I'd definitely recommend this kit for anyone looking to build a powerful system at a lower budget, or for anyone who wants the bragging rights of owning 32GB of RAM but without the cost associated with it.
I bought 4 of these, and all came working out of the box with no errors following a 12 hour mem test on each one. They have been in systems for over a week now, no issues but will update the review should some start failing within the first 6-12 months. Solid choice for budget builds, just a basic fan to circulate air is enough to keep them cool. Work greats in the windows 10 systems I have setup up (4 of them) runs smooth no issues, plays games just fine.
I would absolutely recommend this to anyone that is trying to build a newer generation spec computer that doesnt have an unlimited budget or that is on a tight budget. The benefit of buying new products is always that if they do not work for some reason you can get them fixed or replaced by the Manufacturer or by the Selling party. I would suggest to always buy stuff new when on a really tight budget and that is simply to make sure that you do not end up with something that does not work or that doesnt work correctly. I will definitely be buying more in the future to upgrade my system when that time comes.

I put the system together last night and it refused to post. The first thing I did was try booting with only 1 stick. Still nothing. I then tried with the other stick and was up and running. Though, during my troubleshooting I also found out that the mobo I ordered with the RAM had a dead slot as well. I guess I just wasn't very lucky with my parts. Will update my review after the RMA because I didn't really get the chance to use anything yet.
