My 5 year old daughter got to try this Gabby’s Dollhouse, Rainbow Closet Portable Playset with Gabby Doll from Tryzon for our honest review! I kept it a complete surprise and had her open it. She has been asking for Gabby toys for a while but I figured I’d just wait until Christmas to surprise her. When she opened this package she was tickled! Her eyes lit up and she squealed! Absolutely Fun! Gabby’s Dollhouse is an ultimate hit! I have two little girls and the second we got our Gabby’s Dollhouse they were chomping at the bit! They could not wait to open it and jump right in to having fun. Their favorite part is they can keep Gabby and all her outfits contained in the dollhouse and carry the case around like a purse! Both girls are 11 and 7 and they enjoyed playing with this for a few hours! I call that a win for Mom and Dad! While playing with the house the girls of course had to turn on Gabby! So with Gabby playing in the background they have had so much fun trying to match her outfits to the ones worn from the show! The packaging material hooks around the hinge pins, which bends the pins at the end, but doesnt affect its usage at this point. Also, the backgrounds dont always stay clipped into place; sometimes we had to take one out and leave it on the side while playing. Big enough for imaginative play, but small enough to fold up and tuck out of the way. My child had a great time playing with this toy, and has since used it several times in combination with other toys and dollhouses. They did express that it would've been more fun if one of the cats came in this playset, rather than only Gabby. Overall, this is a fun little playset for the Gabby's Dollhouse fan in your life. In terms of ease of use for her, she does need some help switching out the backgrounds but she can manage changing the outfits on her own. She needs help getting Gabby secured on the runway but she likes to play freely with them so no big deal. The only annoying part is trying to get the clothes to stay on their display hangers. I haven’t figured out a trick to get them to stay but my daughter moves the set a lot so maybe it’s just our issue. The wigs are colorful and so much fun.
