First off, the price is great and it ships from a wonderful trustworthy company. The machine is brilliant, cleaning and lubing the brew group is very simple and it brews a mean espresso. Definitely recommend this machine. You can comfortably make beverage's for 15 people in a very reasonable amount of time. When you keep the machine running steady the time to get steam is pretty quick.

For a refurb, this was in perfect condition and was easy to get started. It works perfectly. I never would have spent the money on a new one, but this is just as good.

Milk frothing and hot milk more importantly automatically from the button. Easy milk cleaning from the same operation, just with water instead of milk. Great!We have owned a couple of delonghi fully automatic bean to cup machine with the milk jug. The coffee brewing has always been good but the milk operation has been the side that has broken after only 2 years or less with both machines. Plus the milk was only warm.This Gaggia is great. We arrived home one day for it to be on the doorstep - which was very poor, along with the USA cable. Thankfully it was covered in plastic.

Very nice machine for the price. Would recommend buying this. I use this in my home kitchen and we make at least 10 cups a day. I'm thinking about buying one for our employees breakroom. We have 20 employees, not all drink coffee. This is what I would recommend.
We received this espresso machine as a wedding gift over four years ago. It was very important to my husband, the coffee expert, that we have a manual machine so that he could control all of the factors (tamping, heat, how long to pull shots, etc.) We did a lot of research and found that this machine had really high ratngs as a top home machine in Italy. How can you beat that?! We have been very happy with it overall and haven't had any major problems with it. My in-laws have a much nicer electric machine and they have had many more problems/repairs done on it than we have.It allows you to actually be a barista, much more control than just pushing buttons.
