I received this product complimentary of Gainsborough Hardware and influenster in exchange for my honest review. We installed the Gainsborough Freestyle Trilock Smart Lock and we love it. Installation was pretty easy, programming is simple. I love that you can pair it with the wifi bridge and door sensor kit and download the Gainsborough Freestyle app for smart Bluetooth control. Works on most smart phones. I'm still trying out the settings to suit our household. Comes with 2 keys for extra piece of mind that can override the lock and everyone can have their own pin entry code. We found the keyless entry lock easy to install to our front door. Only taking Approx one hour to install. The app is easy to navigate and the wifi bridge makes it a great way to gain keyless entry and also allows you the option to set up a guest pass code for visitors if you are not home. The lock is sturdy and great quality. It also comes with 2 extra keys. We love the look of it and have enjoyed using it for the last few weeks. Much easier than searching around in my bag for my keys each time i come home.

I would absolutely recommend this to anyone looking for a smart lock. It can be opened with either the app on your phone or a code. Codes can be assigned to friends and family either permanently or for a set amount of time and can be entered on the hidden keypad (picture attached) You will be notified with exactly who has unlocked or locked the door, when and how! There is an option to set it to auto lock which can be anywhere between 5 and 120 seconds that is handy for those who are forgetful. I would also 100% recommend purchasing the wifi bridge (sold separately) for that added peace of mind while you are out or travelling, that way the door can be monitored remotely via the app. One thing I will mention is that the door can only be dead locked via the app and unlocked the same way, if you privacy lock the door then you can still open it by turning the handle (from the inside) if it’s dead locked you cannot.

I love this door handle! It looks great, It’s so easy to use install. I love that you can connect it to the app and remotely check that the door is locked. I love the keypad feature meaning you can get in without having a physical key. It’s also super handy that you can make a guest code through the and have it last for a short period of time, so visitors can come and go without a key. The only issue we had was getting the app to connect, but after some trouble shooting and getting it to connect we haven’t had an issue since.

The instructions were not overly complicated, and the step by step layout was easy to follow. We had all the little tools ready to go which helped. The the installation was a little tricky as we had to allow for the removal of the old handle since we were not replacing the door (yet). We used it on an internal door between the garage and house but have plans to get a new front door soon. We couldn't put it straight on the front door due to the current handle being the long bar style and there are some supply issues for the new door and we are still waiting on it. The handle itself is very solid and sturdy, so I believe it is going to last a long time. Being able to use keyless entry is great! It means there is one less thing to have to carry around, although at first it's concerning that someone will try to get in by just attempting the pin over and over, but they really need to find the pin pad first! Since the batteries were already flat, I'm a bit worried about how long they actually last in the handle. Having the key override function gives a bit of extra peace of mind, as long as you can get to it (such as an outdoor lock box bolted to a wall, or leaving a key with a neighbour etc). I find the single lock button on the inside to be handy for a quick lock when you come inside, and the fact that you just turn the handle to get out and it doesnt have to be dead bolted is perfect in case you need to get out in a hurry. The app is excellent. You can lock and unlock from it and allocate different pin codes to different people. Handy for allowing a cleaner to get in at certain times! Checking the log of who has been coming and going would have been great to use when my kids were younger. I can't wait to get a new door so I can install it again and get proper use out of it. The matte black matches our front facade and it will look excellent on a wooden varnished door. All in all I'm extremely happy with this lock! I'm sure once I get it onto the new front door and can make use of all the features properly I'll love it even more. I highly recommend this lock.

I absolutely love this smart lock! The installation was straight forward and have loved the convenience of being key free when leaving the house. Being able to access and control the lock remotely has made me feel extra secure at home. The discreet look is both upmarket and then again another level of security for our home.

Installation of the lock was simple and pairing the lock with the WiFi bridge was quick and strwighrforward. The Gainsborough app is easy to use and allows you to unlock the door from the app or you can set a passcode and use the keypad to unlock the door. Being able to issue family members their own passcodes is perfect for a large family and the app keeps track of entry times and users. You can also use the app to check if you have closed the door or left it ajar.

I received this product free from influenster and Gainsborough in exchange of my honest opinion. It is a fantastic produst, specially if you keep forgetting your key and get locked out of your door. Instalation is DIY and a very easy one. High security. In general I am very satisfied and totally recommend it.

We love the stylish new addition to our home's entry and it has grown on us more and move 9ver the weeks. Super easy to lock or unlock from anywhere using the smart app, it's easier to open manually in low light, plus nit having to search around for keys, just use your code and boom, door open... the make of the lock is really solid and strong and you can tell is a quality Gainsborough hardware. Th Freestyle Trilock Smart lock really is the bees knees of home security. Relatively easy to install (hubby is not handy at all, and he managed) , and looks impressive on my front door. Any guest who has seen it has commented about how great it looks. This item really takes smart home to a whole new level.
