Processor works like a dream, the screen is super rich in colour, cameras are great, the battery charges really fast and holds longer than I expected. No complaint there. This is ridiculous, they could if they wanted too!Samsung has obviously decided that changing the protector is too expensive, as every single flip will have it crack and fail within the year. I get that this is costly, but they should cover anyone that had the phone before the policy change. At minimum, Samsung changing the policy and refusing to replace it is an admission that the screen protector will fail. I would be careful about buying this phone, you will have to replace the screen protector every 4-5 months. The phone itself works good, just understand that it comes with costly maintenance a couple times a year.

I saw so many people showing off this phone online dressing it up in so many cool ways that I wanted it myself. I've never bought such an expensive phone (always under 150€) but it's so worth it! I LOVE the little cover screen, it's so cute and handy, you can even play games on it or use your camera (also on instagram). There are so many handy features when you your phone is 'flipped' like using your camera like an old school film camera, putting it on something for easy selfies, open 2 apps at the same time when your screen is flipped, watching videos without holding it,...I love the fact that this phone looks like an old gameboy color! I dropped the phone once and the gears in the hinge damaged and ended up damgin the main screen on thr phone.What i thought was a good option in buying insurance was a equally as stresssful. They returned my phone and claimed that it passed their quality control. But i noticed within the first day that the phone would not realise that it was open and the main screen would remain blank, and the cover screen would still be working. The fault was intemittent but now, happens so often that the phone is no longer reliable. The samsung customer service team through no fault of their own have to follow the script that they are told when it comes to repairs. But in this particular case it is pretty ... I would recommend that people do not purchase this phone. I have been a samsung user for about 10 years, this was my first time gettig the phone directly from them as opposed to my network provider and it has been my biggest phone related regret. I own a lot of samsung devices, but considering the known fragilties of this paticular device, i would not reccommend it all. I can deal with a phone having issues it is stressful, but what is completely unacceptable is Samsung's lack of suitable solutions when you have an issue. You should never have to buy a phone thinking that you'll have to get a replacement phone becasue the insurance and repair process is so in adequate, especially for the price of this device.

I took the dive after reading extensively on the fold and flip. After a week I started to notice scuffs on the flip 4 screen.... I dug deeper and realized the ultra thin glass on the screen is far and away lesser quality then on any Samsung I ever owned. Not only that but since only owning it since September 2022 there are small cracks occurring on the inside seam of the inner screen. Called care+ and covered under warranty but since I live far away from any location have to ship it in with 0 phone for atleast a week. You can literally almost watch the battery level drain even ... I have been using my Flip 4 for just over a week. There is definately a wow-factor with this device, everyone stares at it! Visually, in Grey, this is a very smart looking phone and when folded looks in place in the work environment. The external screen displays a small yellow dot when there are notifications to see, then with a double tap you can scroll through the notifications, you can even read entire messages here! This screen can also diplay several different widgets, my favorite is the calendar which clearly shows me my diary of the day.It goes without saying, this device is great in the pocket.Opening the closing the phone is unlike flip phones of old. This is beneficial for video calls as you no longer have to find something to lean your phone onto!In full open mode, the phone has a nice bright and colourful screen, and moving images are super smooth with its 120Hz refresh rate. Note, this screen is not a piece of glass and actually has a screen protector applied out of the box. This protector must not be removed. I have found that the screen is a bit of a dust catcher, and where I would usually wipe it against my clothes, that doesnt work quite as well due to the raised edge that exists all around the screen. Im not sure why this raised border is there but as its similar in protrusion to a normal phone case, so I expect most people will be used to it being there.I regularly visit building sites, and i have noticed that tiny dust particles can sometimes enter the hinge making a crushing sound when I open the phone. This is not ideal at all, however I can imagine that most people may not experience this if they keep the phone clean at all times!Overall, I love that the phone folds and I believe future iterations will just get better.
