Got to break this out at a 3day tourney at my club during an annoying 4 hour drizzle. Worked as advertised and really kept me drier than i expected. It is super lightweight and packable too which will come in handy on a trip to the northwest in the fall. I liked the adjustable straps on the sides to improve the fit. No complaints after one time usage, a worthy investment no doubt!

I did a lot of research to find the perfect rain gear. Galvin Green was always coming up at top even though it is a bit pricey. I haven’t tried it yet in the rain since we are in the off season but I really like the feel of it and how it fits. I like how the jacket is adjustable, no worries if I lose or gain a few pounds. I live in Canada, my order got here in time and the parcel was in perfect shape.

Wore the jacket in two rain storms recently on the West Coast. Stayed dry through both events. Thoughtful application of side straps allows for good movement while swinging. Even with wind driven rain I stayed dry under the jacket. Purchased the jacket on sale, well worth the sale price. I never would have purchased it otherwise. Very expensive for regular price.

A really well designed jacket. The spring has mostly been cold and windy and it has been great to keep me Warm. The stretchy fabric makes it easy to swing in, and I like the adjustable sides. This is my go to jacket for Golf, and while it’s not cheap, it’s well worth the price.
Very lightweight gear is perfect to put in the bag and take with you. The style is modern but still something that will look good for years. The adjustments for chest and sleeves are great, and the zippers on the pockets are nice to have; very well made. I ordered the "True Fit" recommended size and had to exchange for one size bigger. One size bigger took the jacket from slightly snug under the arms to perfect; definitely not too big going up a size. The process to exchange was really simple and fast---could not have been easier. Big thanks to the customer service team for making the exchange so smooth.
Very nice fit - does not restrict movements at all, without being baggy, long or poorly fitting.Cuts the wind fantastically without adding heat, and breathes great while carrying a bag.Only issue is the front zipper is not sealed waterproof - it has a liner flap to protect inside the jacket. I don't KNOW if this will let water in, but it as not as waterproof as it could be with a sealed zipper, which I would have expected at this price point.
This is my main chilly weather jacket - rain or shine. It looks great and allows full freedom of movement during the golf swing. It is pretty lightweight and works well with base or mid layers on underneath. I typically buy XL for most clothing, but I found that the XL Armstrong runs small in the mid-section. XXL would have worked better for me.
I had been looking for a good quality, lightweight rain jacket to keep in my golf bag. This one is perfect. It's a tad expensive, but it's Goretex and that's what attracted me to it. It should last for many years. My size was a little tight, as it is a european fit. So, I opted to exchange it for the next size up, giving me plenty of room to layer under it and still swing.
I had always heard about the quality of GG but never had actually had the opportunity to see it first hand. I bought the jacket and pants just based on what I’d heard, best decision ever. Both pieces are extremely light and super comfortable. Quality is second to none and worth it.
So far only worn it twice while playing golf in the rain. Definitely waterproof although still found it stick to my arms. Not as breathable as I had hoped.I ordered 1 size big for me, could have been 2 sizes big. Fits small.
