As soon as this game arrived, we immediately wanted to play. We love the game of life and Super Mario, so to have this combined into one game was amazing! The gameplay is super easy to understand, and because you can choose your own path, there's no predictability. The game itself reminds me of playing Mario party on any of the Nintendo platforms... with minigames, action item cards, and even the help of companions. Overall, this game was super fun to play, my son ended up winning the 1st go around, but I can tell this is definitely going to be a new family favorite.

This game is very different from the original but it is easy for kids to understand and actually really fun for adults too. My husband and I love playing this with our 7 year old. Very competitive but easy to figure out. What else is nice is a game could last for only a few minutes or for a good lenght of time depending on how lucky your spins are.

What a nice spin on a classic game! You have to collect stars to beat the big guy at the end, to beat him you have to spin a high number that the stars help you get. The rules aren't very hard to understand and I was able to play with my 8,7, and 6 year old. I dont think they would've understood if I wasn't explaining it to them at first but they caught on as the game went and I'm fairly confident they can after playing a few times.. at the the 7 and 8 year old.The boys loved that it was Mario and of course my daughter wanted to be princess peach. We all had so much fun playing, they beg me to play it with them almost everyday!

In The Game of Life: Super Mario Edition board game, players choose to play as Mario, Luigi, Peach, or Yoshi, journeying through the Mushroom Kingdom, and finally spinning to win in a battle against Bowser! They move around the looping paths of the gameboard as they collect coins, power up with items and Companions, and play fun minigames along the way such as Rock Paper Scissors, Thumb Wars, and Spin-Offs. As they approach Bowser's Castle, players will also buy stars to boost their battle-spin; each star collected adds 1 point to their spin total, and players will need to spin higher than a 12 to defeat Bowser and win the game. This fun game for kids and families is for 2-4 players, ages 8 and up.
This game is so cute and very accessible for young kids. My three kids 3-6 years old played this game with their dad and had tons of fun. They needed help reading the cards and directions, but the decorated board, spinner and little tokens made it fun and easy to understand for them. We loved it!
If your child is a Mario fan and love board games this is the best gift ever. This rendition of the Game of Life is one of the best I’ve ever played. The pegs never fall out. The pegs (stars) are secure in the base hole opening of the characters.
This is a fun game for the whole family to play. Especially good on family game nights. The game is easy to understand for all ages and comes with easy to read instructions. I love the characters you can play with and the graphics overall is really neat. This board game even comes with mini games. Never ending fun due to do many features. Spinning the wheel and battling Bowser is the most fun.
This Super Mario inspired Game of Life is a nice addition to our family game night. A must have for all things- Mario lovers and board games enthusiasts. In this game you go through the board as one of the four Mario characters, collecting coins and power ups, playing mini games and finally spinning at the end to win a battle against Bowser. It is super fun, easy to navigate and set up. I even dare to say that it's more entertaining than the original version. In my opinion the best part is the Mini games along the way. It kinda gives me the feels of a board game version of a Mario Party game. The board is made of cardboard but is pretty sturdy, the plastic figures are well made and all the little pieces and cards are easy to keep together in the storage ... We have been playing it every other day and my kids can't get enough. I'll recommend.
So my son isnt all that much a fan of playing boardgames but we have this exact game on our switch console and he loves playing with me so whats best is that its a mario edition. i cannot wait to see his face on christmas day !! so exciting
very cute game. it's the game of life with mario and friends instead. You work your way around the board collecting stars and coins. when you have at least 2 stars you can battle Bowser. my daughter loves it.
