portal 2 is mind-bendingly brilliant. the puzzles are genius, requiring both logic and creativity. glados is hilarious and the story is surprisingly deep. the co-op mode is a blast, with even trickier puzzles. graphics are simple but effective. a must-play for puzzle lovers!

Portal 2 excels with its brilliant puzzles and witty writing. The sequel builds on its predecessor with a compelling story, inventive mechanics, and co-op mode. Its blend of humor and challenging gameplay keeps it fresh and engaging.

I'm a huge fan of Portal 2 (and its predecessor Portal). It's not just a puzzle game: there's a good history, well developed characters, plenty of humour, a generous sprinkle of Easter eggs, and the graphic is nice. Even the OST is pretty memorable, especially the endings. What's more, there is a massive amount of lore involved. There are books, comics, songs, and cake recipes (yes, you read it correctly). Oh, and it's suitable for younger kids as there is no violence of any kind (ok, the turrets WILL shoot at you. And you'll have to avoid lasers, rockets, and vitriolic sarcasm. And there's a murderous AI that wants to kill you with deadly neurotoxin. But that aside, it's perfectly safe 😇). So do yourself a favour and play this game. For Science.

A Truly Remarkable Game

About two years ago, I heard about the Portal game series from a friend so I purchased Portal: Still Alive. I enjoyed the game a lot and played it over and over. I was excited when I recently discovered that there was a Portal 2. The first difference between the two games I noticed was the graphics. They were incredible! Normally an Xbox 360 game has poor graphics but this was different. It also had an insanely well planed story even compared to the first Portal. All around, the game is a work of art and will be enjoyed by anyone fortunate enough to play this game. Oh, and to anyone who reads this and is wondering, the game can be played on Xbox One.

Compelling from start to finish.

Superb. Hilarious throughout, mentally challenging and difficult to stop playing. I played chapter by chapter. Had to use walkthrough occasionally because why would you think to do that. Credit to the people who worked it out so that the walkthroughs could be made. Fully recommend Portal 2.

One of the greats

Portal is an exceptional game. However, that little game was only a little experiment done by valve.Now, the sequel its the full experience. It has a complete story with funny characters and villians, and besides the typical portal gun challenges, there’s also areas with paint from different colors that alter the way you interact wit gravity. For example, orange paint gives you a lot of momentum, which helps you slide around, while blue paint lets you bounce on the ground.This is an amazing game, up there with the best of this generation.

Arguably my favorite video game of all time, Portal 2 offers a hilarious, witty, and oddly poignant single-player campaign. An incredibly balanced experience that is both challenging and rewarding, especially in the cooperative campaign. Great attention to detail, great characters, and great music. As someone who doesn't normally play puzzle games, all the other elements of Portal are enough to draw in any kind of gamer.

Also game is effectively rated "G". No gore, graphic violence, sexual content, etc. Small kids won't be able to play it (puzzles too hard for them) but they might enjoy watching it. Unfortunately, puzzle-based nature of the game means that replay value isn't high, but this is seriously one of the best games out there for PS3, one that adults and kids can enjoy. Game itself won at least half a dozen awards and other industry honors.If you're thinking about this. . .just buy it.

Superb game

Absolutely superb, addictive game. Ive never played anything quite like Portal before. Its unique, almost like a puzzle game but with more skills required, challenging, hilarious, with endearing characters. I also love that Portal 2 supports multiple players. Couldnt recommend it more. Wish theyd make more games in the series.
