The combat in this game doesn't even come close. Remember those awesome moves like turning a bus into a surf board, or running up the face of a skyscraper and pile driving off of it into the ground below? I would rate this game good based on my experience so far. For comparison, I rate the previous Hulk: Ultimate Destruction, Great.Incredible Hulk uses many elements from Ultimate Destruction, but fails to deliver U.D.'s level of fun game play, so far. Also, of course, in my opinion. So, consider my remarks as an initial impression, as I haven't unlocked but maybe 30% of Hulk's powers, at this point. I have played approx. 7.5-8 hrs in 3 sessions, much of it in free-play mode, I have completed maybe 10 story missions. The combat system feels dumbed down so far, and "super moves" are selected from the d-pad and then you just push 2 buttons simultaneously to use. They are your rage and health upgrades. You get upgraded at 10-30-60-100 tanks. AS of now, I only have Hulk at the 30 tank upgrade level for both. So again, take that into consideration when evaluating my comments on game play experience. Because there is more Hulk can do than what I have managed thus far.One of the gripes I have is: Instead of being able to earn points to purchase moves of your choice, moves are rewards. Which also makes it feel as if the game has been dumbed down IMO. I guess the pro would be that the game will be more accessible/lower the learning curve?About the graphics: The cut-scene graphics are very sub-par,.

Probably one of the few games based off a movie that doesn't totally suck. Simply put, if you enjoyed "Ultimate Destruction" you'll get a kick out of this game for sure. The destruction element is ramped from UD quite a bit and the story I thought was decent. Not the best story ever but not crappy either. If anything it's like Grand Theft Auto meets Rampage. The game does have its downfalls with certain moves from UD not being in this one but the game tries to make up for that with different moves and abilities replacing them. One particular thing that I noticed is that the game has a tendency to freeze up a lot whether you're running it off the hard drive or on CD. Not sure what causes this (maybe something in the game engine), but may become an annoyance. For 20 ... MoreProbably one of the few games based off a movie that doesn't totally suck. A few years ago, a little game called Incredible Hulk: Ultimate Destruction was released, and was a surprisingly great take on the Marvel character with free-roaming and destructive environments, plus the overall feeling gameplay-wise that you really were the Hulk. This new movie tie-in Incredible Hulk game from Sega seems to want to follow in the same footsteps, but alas, it is a disappointing, and quite frankly boring, next-gen smash-a-thon. Smashing up a pretty looking New York City is as fun as one would hope, and is by far the best aspect of the game to be sure. After that though, things begin to go downhill in terms of gameplay and overall presentation. After that though, things begin to go downhill in terms of gameplay and overall presentation. Once you get bored with just causing destruction, the gameplay elements at their core just aren't that varied, and the boss fights are underwhelming as well. Graphically, the game looks halfway decent, but there are noticeable graphical glitches and occasional bugs that hamper the experience. Oddly enough as well, just like with the Iron Man game that was recently released, the game's cut-scenes are just plain bad. The good points of the game once again involve laying waste to the environment, and film star Edward Norton lends his voice as Bruce Banner as well. Considering how enjoyable Ultimate Destruction was and still is, it's disappointing how Incredible Hulk ends up faring. It's worth a look for Hulk fans, but in the end, you're better off sticking with an old copy of Ultimate Destruction.

This game is almost identical to Hulk Ultimate Destruction but with better graphics. With free roaming with GTA style format. Honestly besides the graphics I don't think it was better than Ultimate Destruction. In Ultimate Destrcution you actually had a few more moves. The ablity to catch missles and knock them back towards the enemy and grabbing on to planes etc. Besides that you had the Aboination the comic version also included in Ultimate Destruction. I think this is type of gameplay format sits well for a character like the HULK. I beat the game quicker than Ultimate Destruction only because I think Ultimate Destruction sort of prepared me for it. So I suggest to anyone who hasn't played any of the current Hulk games out now to start with Ultimate Destruction. Which by the way got a rating of 9.5 in gameplay. You should be able to get it for under $10 bucks easily. Then by the time you beat it you can probably hold off until the price drops for the next generation version " The Incredible Hulk ". I noticed a few glitches but not anything to complain about with all the destruction going on. It's a great game but save your money and by Ultimate Destruction for the low low unless you just have to have the new version right now. Also for the people who have Iron Man. You must have Iron-Man data on your hard drive to unlock the Iron Man Hulk Bu.

Okay you have two options if you want to play a Hulk game. This one or Ultimate Destruction (sorry the first Hulk movie game doesn't count). If you are a serious Hulk fan you will undoubtedly come back to Sega's The Incredible Hulk for the sheer fact of destroying New York City. Yes it's sloppy and unfinished in many parts (the freeway with no cars on it) and the frame rate comes to a near standstill, but there is fun to be had. Unlike Ultimate Destruction you can really tear apart buildings and streets like never before. While the graphics have improved the collision detection is extremely touchy. Where Ultimate Destruction had excellent controls, graphics, and story, The Incredible Hulk on the 360 fails. Sure the 360 Hulk has great graphics but the controls are very hit and miss. And objects in the game are very glitchy.Oh, and the game freezes at random. I thought it was just my 360 acting up...until I read other people had the same problem. I had the game lock up 5 times in 2 days. This is unacceptable by any standard. Maybe Sega is hoping to fix their shoddy game with a downloadable patch? If so, this goes to show they knew what they were doing by cutting corners.A little known fact is that Sega rushed this game to beat Metal Gear Solid 4 to the shelves- and it shows. If you want a great, near-perfect Hulk game with better controls, more moves and abilit.

I used to have this for the GameCube as a kid and it lived rent free in my mind for over 15 years because I got stuck on a certain mission and never progressed further the story. But now that I’m older it’s an awesome game and come to find out I was stuck on level with the first robot fight haha. Instant closure once I did it tho. And that made this game just as good if not better than new ones today. It gave me something as a kid and an adult too. Thank you for having the game to buy !!!
