GameSir T4 Pro Wireless Gaming Controller

Bought this because it showed IOS compatible but only inside the box did it specify IOS 13+ so that was a waste.Linked it up to Android 11 tv box and can play games and emulators such as PPSSPP.Issue is that it sometimes disconnects and then takes a while to connect again. Kids hate it as it is inconsistent.The range is also about 2-3 meters. Anything more and it start disconnecting.Otherwise cannot complain for something that is half the price of a proper controller.

This controller can be paired with several devices, and you specify how you are conecting when turning it on.Has great battery life, and there are back buttons which can be programmed for other features or as an alternative access to the letters/shape buttons, great gor when you have to move and control a view at the same time, as i only have regular human thumbs, and up to 3 stupid bludging fingers on each side behind the controller doing nothing. Unsure if you can turn the "which player" indicator off tho.The picture doesnt really show it, but the thing is smokey transparent and the near blue glow under the right thumbstick is actually more like half the unit lit up when its on. tbh I'd have wanted the stick itself to have a light under it shining onto the unit mushroom style, but then this is an affordable unit so that's probably why.Overall, look no further, this is the controller you want.

I was looking for another nintendo switch controller. And this one is Awesome! Aftermarket controller does what Pro Controller does except for NFC (which is by the way i seldom use it). Trigger shoulder buttons a bit "high" but you can get used to it. Plus can be use for android and pc.

Compatible with PC, Switch, iOS and Android this controller does a lot, plus it has 4 buttons on the back of the controller that you can map to any of the main buttons or combination of. TBH only two of those back buttons are comfortable to press regularly but they are really well placed for my hand and I find that I use them more than I ever did the back paddles on the Xbox Elite Controller when I had one of those. Solidly built, the sticks and buttons feel great, not quite premium, but comparable to the stock xbox controller. Battery lasts a decent amount of time, but could be better, lasts way longer than Sony Dual Sense, but no where near as long lasting as the switch pro controller battery.

Having previously used a wireless 360 setup, these controllers are a much cleaner and reliable experience - for not much more of a cost once you've thrown in the Windows adapter, wireless kits, etc required for the 360 setup.I was able to get both T4 Pro controllers working on the Pi (be sure to connect and sync on the PC before their first use on the Pi).My only word of caution for someone looking to use these in a similar way: Each controller REQUIRES the USB dongle it was shipped with. First Impressions are good

A good controller with a nice light feel and responsive controls. My only gripe with this is that M1/M2 buttons on the bottom and the X Y buttons seem to be linked together rather than separate bindables. Overall seems great.

Mostly good, some issues.

Bought in late March this year, started getting rather bad right-ward drift in the right stick a couple of days ago. Still good for most purposes, unusable for others. Rear buttons are more of a hinderance than a help, but mostly only when picking it up and putting it down once you get used to them existing. Quite possibly the most ergonomic controller I've used (plus or minus joycons, which have a full l/r split, which is a Huge advantage). Works as well as any other controller I've had reason to use on linux, save that, at least with my set up, plugging in or unplugging the dongle while the PC is on will cause the PC to lock up (not an issue I've ever had with wired controllers, never used another wireless controller with a pc to compare it to).

It was more comfortable, it actually had rumble, it was wireless, and most importantly for me it had mappable buttons on the back of the controller.The elite 2 is fairly expensive, and I'm a casual gamer at best. The t4 pro fills the gap pretty well. At a fraction of the price of the elite 2 (I paid $39.99cdn) it has everything I wanted in a PC controller.It connected to my devices without fuss. The t4 fits my hands very well, it feels sleek and natural.The back buttons aren't separate buttons, each set of two is one solid plastic piece. If you look at the pictures you'll understand more. It doesn't bother me, but it did surprise me as I expected then to be separate buttons. So for instance you can't click m1 and m2 simultaneously as they oppose each other. The upper button in each side feels more like I'm pushing up on it, which is taking some getting used to but really isn't a big deal to me.I saw a YouTube review that mentions that the phone mount defaults to a weird angle. I don't see that at all. I don't game on my phone much so maybe I'm not the best judge. I used Parsec to stream a game to my phone and I found the viewing angle to be fine. But in that position the weight of the phone gets to be a bit much and I played with it resting on something else to make it a bit more bearable. I think having the phone mount is a nice extra feature, but I wouldn't get it with that use in mind. From what I've seen on YouTube there are much better android/phone controllers out there. I mostly want it for PC gaming but I do appreciate that it can be used with my phone when necessary.The cable it came with seems short. I was hoping to be able to play comfortably while it's plugged in, but it's literally two inches short of where I want to hold it. Not a deal breaker, I bought a longer cable elsewhere and it works perfectly fine like that.Overall very pleased.
