Performance:as manufacturer claimedValue For Money:yesBest Feature(s):165HzAppreciate the free gift by merchant, but it will be better if the merchant can provide options such as USB-C/Thunderbolt to DP cable for laptop users. Deduct 3 stars due to the merchant promised but doesn't fulfill my request for the USB-C/Thunderbolt to DP cable which resulted to me not be able to use the monitor for a few days upon receipt.

This monitor is, for the price, utterly incredible. Stonking brightness and deep blacks give incredible real HDR with reliable auto detection, good colour accuracy, good responsiveness, decent motion clarity. Sure high speed IPS and OLED have advantages for certain use cases and if you are a competitive gamer this isn't the screen for you. But if you use your PC for a mix of predominantly single player gaming (you want that HDR goodness) and productivity there isn't a better 27 inch 1440p monitor at any price point. Read the RTINGS review it will tell you everything you need to know. Mine came with firmware 1.4 (build date March 2024) and doesn't suffer from the RGB clamp issues noted on earlier produced BK models.

As the title to this review says , this monitor is frustrating. But good. Out of the box the monitor has a red tint that need manual calibration to fix. Online there are a few options to test such as rting which provide a good calibration setting . Then there is the HDR setup . I found that when enabling HDR everything looked pretty washed. For pc make sure you run the windows HDR calibration and play around with the colour saturation setting . I went full vivid as I think it makes the colours better. I overall have spent two nights after work calibrating and testing the monitor which is abit frustrating but I finally am happy with the visuals and they are good. For £299 it’s a steal but it will steal some time to calibrate correctly.
Monitor works perfectly, Im happy!
I bought this to replace my old 1080p high (144hz) refresh monitor and it's blown me away. This screen gives me a larger screen, with a faster refresh and HDR too. The screen is actually painful to look at when it's all white at maximum brightness! I think it has a relatively low number of dimming zones which you can see when you have a white cursor on a black background but it's not something that I've noticed in any games. Overall I'm very satisfied with this, I play most of my games on my OLED TV and I honestly think that this is comparable to that experience.
I had to return the product because I cannot stand the coil whining noise that the monitor emits. Otherwise, the panel would be beautiful and would keep it. ( But I cannot live with headache )If you don't want to change its settings many times you have a great time with it, otherwise, you won't.
