I decided to give this a try based on numerous positive reviews and given its price point it was a very cheap looking option. I am very happy with the results achieved in just a few weeks with seeds germinating quickly (3 - 5 days as indicated on the pack) and the results produced across bare patches and also thickening areas already covered. I also used a wetting agent to assist water penetration (RichGro Ezy Wet) and added some soil (Scotts Lawn Builder) in the front garden. First picture was 4 March and last was 21 March, and lawn has been given a light trim 3 times.

I used this to make a small lawn. Start to break through within 4 days. Seems to be a little weak at the moment. Had its first cut last week, colour is great but it seems to flatten easily. Maybe it will strengthen with a couple of more cuts. We will have to see. A few people have commented on the colour.

I have used many brands on nature strip ,rotary ,top soils all complete waste of time.I decided in May April 2022 I will buy both mixtures combine and just spread over existing patched lawn and bare soil areas, worked well.

This product has worked fantastically so far!I had grass shoots within 3 days of sowing (after a bit of rain, and when it was hot and humid). I sowed again a few weeks later to fill in bare spots and shoots started appearing within 5/6 days (little to no rain, and when the temperature had dropped quite drastically).Grass is quite wispy, and I haven't mowed yet so I'm unsure of whether or not the roots have grown very deep.But so far so good!
Works great for small patches but won’t match your existing lawn type which can be a pain but not as bad as having couch in your lawn. Definitely not winter green
I have used this several times with no issues and good results Unfortunately the last 2 boxes I used has not produced anything. Disapointing! Hopefully just a bad box
I bought this to cover some large areas of bare dirt. Germinated within a couple of days and the growth and coverage was amazing. This is better than any other lawn seed I have tried. It even grew on patches of bare compacted earth. I would highly recommend trying this product.
Absolute beginner here with zero lawn care experience , was able to repair my nature strips. Seeds germinated in 7 days and looking lush after 3 weeks.Aerate, topsoil, apply seasol products and watch the magic happens! Overall, very pleased with the product and for the price you can’t go wrong.
Had many bare patches after had areas of a buffalo lawn specialist spray a noxious weed that took off due wet/shady conditions. Applied this seed - great result - sprouted, nice & green, but it grows so well that even in cooler September & October that have to mow it every 2 weeks. If you normally mow every 2 weeks it's for you. Usually I could mow every 3-4 weeks in these months.
Nice grass, I watered mine every day for a month or so when I sowed in autumn and it grew quite fast. Strands are are quite thin but I think they might thicken up with time. Recommend buying/using much more than they advise on the instructions if you want thick, luscious grass.
