Horrible product. I used double the recommended amount in mixture and did two sprays within a gap of 4 days. There was no rain for at least 24 hours after every spray.It took 10 days to show any affect whatsoever. And all it did was yellowing of some leaves. Weed is still standing there high n mighty. Horrible horrible product.
The problem here is the recommended dilution is off by a factor of 4.The hortico 360 was great at 15ml/L post mix with water but this Garden Basics concentrate stuff is 100g/L vs 360g/L glyphosate of the previous product so you’re essentially dealing with 4x less active ingredient per mL.So to get decent results you need to use 4-5x the recommended sticker dose to match the Hortico 360 at 15ml/L= this bottle is good for making 5L of premix, not 50L as the sticker says - you might as well just water your weeds at 30ml/L. Sure even at the proper dosage its better value than ready to go products but absolutely lacks value compared to the discontinued Hortico 360.
What a fantastic product!At first, I didn't grasp the proper usage and mistakenly used it as a weed killer. After spraying it, I realized it had no effect, and the weeds continued to grow insanely.Then, I changed my approach and started spraying it in areas where I wanted weeds to grow. Just as I expected, the weeds became thicker and denser.This product has really bring the wild wild nature back to my home. Weeds are cleared to make space for planting other plants, and this weed killer skips the intermediate steps. Just sprinkle it, and you'll see plants growing rapidly. It's like an incredible fusion of artificial intelligence and future technology in gardening. It's truly astonishing!
Used initially with the proportion mentioned on the label, measuring and deep diving into types of weeds and nothing happened for a week. Then just added about 70-100ml of this into 1L of water and prepared highly concentrated solution and started seeing results. Even though instructed dose is off than what actually it needs, it sure works with highly concentrated. Recommended for small area weed killing tasks.
This is rubbish. Used at the recommended rate it has no effect. This product should be recalled as it is being sold under false pretences. It is not a herbicide. Bunnings are ripping off the consumer with this product, Bunnings needs to be held to account for selling this product that is nothing more than coloured water.
We have used this poison all around the yard and it is amazing. Kills everything. We have stones down the side of the house and at the back and have had a real problem with weeds. We no longer have a problem. Best value for money ever.
As per the title, you might as well just use water if you're going to pick this stuff as it would kill weeds just as well as this product (eg not at all, you might get lucky though!) I've tried mixing at the recommended rate and then after no luck tried using 2x and 3x the dose and still nothing or at best very hit and miss results! Useless and only bought it as I couldn't find the normal Hortico one (orange bottle) I have used many times before with great success. Save your money.
