Excellent all round use for both the garden, hosing off muddy Boots and being able to reduce the power of the water to wash muddy dog paws!It was on the pricey side (only reason for the 4 Stars), but it looks and feels well built and should last much longer than the cheaper all plastic sprayers.

I guess I should have brought it in last autumn, but l could do without the faff of digging it out and connecting/disconnecting it, just to fill a bucket... Gardena promise frost-proof performance. It's a well-made object, didn't drip in use, was well packed and arrived quickly. However, it's fiddly to lock the water spray on and off as you have to slide a fairly stiff switch across and then back again which is definitely a two handed job. I've got a Hozelock sprayer on another garden hose and much prefer that one as to lock the sprayer on you simply squeeze a button down and then it only takes a very brief press again to release the lock and stop the water. The Gardena sprayer also lacks one of the spray patterns used on the Hozelock but it does have a removable filter for cleaning.
This is top of the range sprinkler. Very well made and I expect it to last a long time. Good range of sprinkler patterns. Not cheap but you generally get what you pay for. I would definitely recommend.
