I have two of these on a tap splitter to water different parts of the garden. They're excellent. The app is simple and works well. Range is about 30m (direct line of sight). Can't complain.Expensive for what it is though.

Just decides to not connect after connecting and creating a schedule on it. No button to pair again with iPhone so removed and re-inserted battery and connected but now the schedule is gone. Created schedule again which is slow to save (8 sec x 3) each time and now this morning I'm in office, 2.5m away and no connection.

Excellent product, Have previously purchased other automatic watering products and always had trouble setting them up, was able to set this one up no trouble. Will needto buy another in the new year for my other outside tap.
Love that it can be programmed to water at anytime for any period. However reconnection of Bluetooth can be a little problematic when you want to do extra watering. Sometimes it refuses to reconnect without reprogramming altogether.
The reason I bought this expensive water controller over others is because you can connect it to your phone via Gardena App. But this does not happen. The app doesn't recognise the product and connection to my iPhone is weak.

A good product. Nice to be able to operate it from your phone. However, the Bluetooth range is very short. I can’t start the system in the backyard from the front of my very small house.
It works well enough but we have a big section and the bluetooth needs to be with range for it to work . When I purchased this I asked this question and was advised it was only required to be within range for original set up. This needs to be advised
