Gardeon Wooden Garden Bench 3 Seat Patio Furniture Timber Outdoor Lounge Chair - White

This product is of very poor quality. The size and depth of the seat are actually good. But the product itself is not great. Its poorly painted. Runs all over it (in the places it was actually painted). Timber is rough and didn't fit together nicely.

I bought the larger seat and when it arrived the legs/arms were missing.I was informed the seat comes in 2 packages.I had to chase around till my second half of the package arrived a week later.Quality isn’t that great.Chipped easily and wasn’t finished properly.It is quite sturdy though.

This product took 6 week and a phone call to arrive . I have just put it together and the quality is terrible, the timber is split, the paint work it terrible, the paint doesn't seem to have a coating on it so it's going to go black in the weather. I have put together many benches before but this one was the worst. Instructions were terrible. It had been stood on, as one of the boxes had a large man's boot make on it. To top it off, insects which I'm sure customs would be interested in, flew out of the boxes and I had to destroy them. Terrible product and terrible service. Never again will I be taken in by a "My Deal" product again

The quality of the bench seat was very poor. The timber was very rough and the construction just below par. The paint finish…very poor. We had to stabilise it, putty up flaws and gaps and completely repaint…very disappointed..but now we have completely renovated it it is fine, I’m very wary of purchasing anything again…

Gardeon bench and Disgusting Myer customer service

The worst purchase I have ever made. 2 screws sticking up through the bench, lattice on the backrest not attached, poorly made joints, timber not finished (sanded and stained) in some places, fixing bolts not all the same (3 countersunk 1 bullet head)....Then you have to try and get your money back. Myer absolute disgrace in this field. I purchased this on line from Myer, paid my money to Myer when it comes to getting your money back you have to deal with a third party through Myer. No other contact available. Been waiting since 26th January to get this piece of crap out of my lounge room and money returned.

Good garden seat, if you're handy!

This is a very basic semi-assembled kit. However, you can get a good result if you are handy. The pre-assembled components including the lattice work have been cut and assembled in a very rudimentary fashion. Yon can achieve a fairly good chair once assembled but only if you are happy to do a little bit of filling, sanding (to correct the imperfections in the joinery and lattice work/ frames) and final repainting.The assembly is fairly straightforward (if you're reasonably handy). I used a good quality wood glue in the joins of the main pieces before tightening all of the included nuts and screws.

Perfect weight and colour for our terrace.

We bought two garden two seater wooden garden benches and they look absolutely perfect on our terrace. The varnish colouring is lighter than shown in the promotional image, and we were pleased because the lighter colour fits in with our colour scheme. The light weight of the benches suited us because we can move them around easily, plus they are very comfortable. Many an afternoon tipple, or cuppa will be enjoyed while sitting on the benches.

Solid, reasonable price, average quality

Quality not great (I had to use filler to repair a hole in the armrest) but then it is quite inexpensive. When put together it is solid and quite attractive. It has a good coating of lacquer but only on visible surfaces, not on joints - where water will seep and be be trapped. This means the type of wood is important. The description said fir wood, which I assumed to be Douglas Fir but no-one at Harvey Norman could tell me. If it is Douglas Fir it should be reasonably durable outdoors, but if it is only something like pine, it won't last long.

Timber bench seat

Not good quality. Timber has a terrible finish, which might look good from a distance but close up is very poor and patchy. If you are looking for something utilitarian rather than showy it’s fine, but don’t put it somewhere to impress. Bolt heads do not sit flush with the timber

Unfortunately disappointed.

Purchased this product for my front porch, as it stated product is “durable”. Unfortunately, this was not the case for the product that arrived. The product was roughly sanded and lightly painted and we already have areas that both the paint and timber have cracked. As this product could only be purchased online, we trusted the description, but were left disappointed with the product.
