This bench seat is very cheaply made and held together with staples. The back of the seat is at 90 degrees very upright which makes it very uncomfortable to sit in. Not worth the money and I will probably never use it. I don't see myself buying from this site again. I have no rating for this item as it really is bad quality

We put this together easily. It is a bit rough in places but nothing that a light going over with sand paper didn't fix. I found the back of the bench was flimsy and moved too much for our liking so we put an angle brace attached to the seat to hold it firm. Delivery was spot on and overall I am very happy with my purchase.

Unfortunately the quality of this product was well below the standard I expected. The wood finish is rough, splintered and in some places chunks are missing (not due to wood grain). The finish is patchy and requires further weatherproofing. Screw holes are missing from the supports beneath the seat so will have to be drilled. I would not buy any of this range again. Very disappointing.

Purchased as a gift for my nanna, it arrived approximately only 4/5 days after payment and was packaged well. The product was definitely not the weight stated on the box, it was lighter. As we opened it, straight away we were faced with very poorly manufactured and finished pieces. With chunks of wood missing, rough pieces and splinters that could cause injury. The lacquer used was a slap dash job and some areas weren't even covered. I am now very hesitant to purchase anything else from this site. I will be need to sand back and re-apply the varnish myself to make the seat safe for my grandparents to use without a cover

Without a this is the worst piece of timber machining ever seen ----splinters in armrest second time bench being used. Now sap is seeping out of the timber on the seat--very sticky. Backrest too upright and rough on the edges.Totally dissatisfied with product and would NOT recommend this to my worst enemy.

I am disappointed that Myer would procure and sell a product of such poor quality. It is light weight, not finished properly, the finish is patchy, roughly cut edges that are not sanded.Will return for refund and unfortunately question whether to purchase from Myer in the future.

Cheap and it looks and feels like it

This is made from very cheap and brittle soft timber. It dents and bits break off extremely easily. I cannot imagine this being very long lasting at all. If you want something you know you'll have to replace in a fairly short timeframe then its reasonably cheap, but is not something durable that will last. I do not think it could be used outside as it will probably rot very quickly, being a softwood, not a hardwood material. The bracing bits did not fit properly on my piece so had to make do with the best fit I could get.

Nice style bench but some pieces damaged

The bench is the right size and colour for what I want it for. Unfortunately the timber is damaged in places from lack of care in production and packing. There are scratches and areas where timber has been damaged. Some of the drill holes have been poorly drilled so the wood is chipped and it was difficult to get the screws in. I have included photos.
