Exactly the same as the strap I am replacing, purchased a couple so can have one in the wash after a sweaty ride and one for immediate use. The plastic ends of the strap fit perfectly into the Garmin Heartrate monitor, the stitching is perfectly finished so will not part company prematurely. Recommended replacement, good value, perfect fit.

It is what it is. An elastic strap that holds my heart rate monitor in place for the most part when I exercise. It might work better on someone with an athletic build. They should make one for pear shaped people like me.

The plastic end on my original broke, so I bought a replacement. Came quickly. Construction quality is high. Seems reasonably priced for what it is. This strap is a good replacement for any heart monitor that uses a strap with this type of ends.
My older Sports Instruments heart rate monitor strap was worn out. This Garmin strap is almost identical to the one from my Sports Instruments strap. I trimmed a small plastic tab off each end to make it identical. I wonder if Garmin purchased Sports Instruments. Good quality.
Replacement strap was needed after the old one was repeated washed and lost most of elasticity.
My original Garmin heart rate monitor strap’s elastic had failed after many years of use. I thought about purchasing a new Garmin or just the complete chest strap with the transmitter. I was pleasantly surprised that I could purchase just the strap! I saved money that I will allocate to shiny bike parts.The new replacement strap works perfectly.
Though not listed as compatible with the Forerunner 301 transmitter, I was able to modify the strap for a secure fit. The strap's plastic tabs that fit/hook into the transmitter end slots have a tiny under-tab on each tip. By carefully filing those flush with the rounded tip they lock nicely into place on 301 transmitter. The order arrived quickly in spite of winter weather conditions.
