I'm in love with this watch. I feel like I have found a gem. Garmin started to pop up a lot during my search for a watch that can track my indoor swimming. The look of the Fenix 6 stood out for me. I wish it allowed a pinless payment option. Overall, I'm in love with this watch. I feel like I have found a gem. Note: I’ve bought it a half-price sale; not sure if I would be willing to buy for full price.

I owned a Garmin Forerunner 245 about 3-4 years ago and didn't really like it that much at all to be honest. Then I went through 2 Polar watches I liked....tried the Suunto 9 and then the Fenix 6X Pro. I feel like I've gone from the outhouse to the penthouse. I love every little thing about this watch: I really like bigger watches to so the 51mm face is ideal I swapped out the band for a Anaben(?) velcro one from Amazon. I love velcro watch bands...starting back in the day with the Timex Fast Wrap band....haha. Garmin universe (Garmin Connect and Connect IQ) apps are amazing...I'm sure they could be better? But they are the best out there...and I've done Polar and Suunto...but Garmin has the Cadillac of data and layout. Love it. I put a screen saver on it...I wanted the Sapphire...but I also wanted the black bezel...and for that you have to buy the one with the leather band and drop another 200 bones...haha...I don't need Sapphire that bad...although it is the 3rd hardest substance on earth. I may get a Sapphire in the 7 in a year or so....we'll see what new features they add to the 6X Pro and if it's worth it. I don't know if everything about this watch is perfect...or it's just perfect for me and they somehow got everything I like perfectly correct. The only watch I'll go to after this one is a Fenix 7...haha. I got it for $499....and I was actually worried about getting arrested for stealing at that price...haha. I think this watch under 500 bones is a great deal. Feel free to ask a question and if I see it I'll try and answer it... Amazon has a better return policy than this site...but this site is smaller...family owned and offers good discounts usually and good competitive prices. They also ship super fast...of course I also live close in Columbus, O. I've been recommending this watch to my friends I like it so much. Hope this helps somebody!

I bought this while it was on sale. Had been weighing up a new Samsung watch or this. Ended up with this and could not be happier. If you're going from a Samsung watch to garmin you will loose some functionality but you gain 5plus days of battery time. And for the most part this feels like a watch, mostly becaue of its display. Yes it is not crisp or vibrant but if you can look past that it only takes a day to adjust. And in daylight this shines. You can see the time all the time and the additional features are great. The connect app isn't as refined as the Samsung health but it too only take a day or two to adjust. If you cna give up the touch bit this will last you years I think.

Purchased Garmin Fenix 6 with titanium strap. I could not find this watch cheaper anywhere. The watch itself is quite large at 47mm and looks big on the wrist, had looked at getting 51mm but this would have been to large. the adjustment of the strap was simple with the screwdriver tool supplied in the box used to remove a couple of links. The watch is simple to use once the various button functions are understood, maybe a touch screen would be useful when getting text messages etc, but then again what this watch is used for a touch screen maybe detrimental to the function as it could accidentally be taken away from the function in use. The amount of functions in such a small package is staggering and you can play and store music as well through Bluetooth amazing.

Went for the light gold which is (in my opinion) the standout colourway of the Fenix 6 family. The shale grey suede band feels top quality, & I'll be saving that for occasional ware, while the sand silicon band is comfy and ideal for daily/sporting use until I pick up a nylon hook strap. I've had a couple of days of trying out activities and the tracking & health features are superb. I think the light gold colourway is perhaps a little overpriced versus the other 6S Pro & Solar versions, especially considering the only real material difference is the suede strap. Nonetheless, the price from First Class was the best I could find, beating Garmin's own by miles. Order arrived next day by DPD, well packed, with good despatch and tracking info throughout. I previously had a forerunner and was able to make it work for me really well. Unfortunately it died. After a year or so I finally got the fenix 6s, and thus far its been great. I'm still working on customizing it to my liking, but it's easy to work with. I think the garmin connect updates have all been steps in a positive direction. And the additional features of the watch are pretty fun for a data nerd like myself. Especially paired with the new hrm-pro, I'm quite interested to test out the new power measurements in xc skiing, overnight pulseox seems to work alright, and being able to do HRV through garmin and not a 3rd party like I used to have to is quite nice. I've had the watch for about 9 months now and wish I had of just gotten a samsung smart watch but here are all the reasons I'm disappointed in this overpriced piece of junk. Most of the monitoring features are rubbish, the heart rate monitor just doesn't work during any physical training half the time it stays at my resting HR or it just doesn't read anything. The oxometer constantly says 95% regardless of what I do which I tested against multiple finger oxometers which showed 99-100% When swimming laps it jumps back and fourth constantly one minute it will say I've done 950 metres then I'll do another lap and it says I've only done 900 metres. It refuses ... MoreI've had the watch for about 9 months now and wish I had of just gotten a samsung smart watch but here are all the reasons I'm disappointed in this overpriced piece of junk. Most of the monitoring features are rubbish, the heart rate monitor just doesn't work during any physical training half the time it stays at my resting HR or it just doesn't read anything. The oxometer constantly says 95% regardless of what I do which I tested against multiple finger oxometers which showed 99-100% When swimming laps it jumps back and fourth constantly one minute it will say I've done 950 metres then I'll do another lap and it says I've only done 900 metres. It refuses to connect to my new Samsung s21 ultra Evan after disconnecting my old phone and wasting hours trying to troubleshoot it. Then it randomly decided for weeks that the battery didn't want to last longer then 6 hours after a full charge making the watch a great decoration for my PowerPoint. Finally Garmin support are just unhelpful simply stating I should restart it or update it like I haven't tried that already multiple times. For the price I just expected it to work better, this is the first and last garmin product I'll buy.
