Worked well the first couple of times that I used it. On my last trip it took me out of the way by three miles directing me into a upscale neighborhood and dead end road that I had to back out of. I bought this unit to avoid situations like this. Now, I will no longer trust it for anything. What if it was a low overpass that it missed?

There is a learning curve for sure, I know I am old but just entering an address is not as simple as using the GPS on my truck, but I have to say the graphics are a lot better plus being connected to the internet thru my truck helps with the traffic updates. Still learning, mainly bought it for when I am towing my travel trailer, tested recently on a road trip from Tennessee to Wisconsin.
Great interface and features Very easy to setup and use Dash cam works great Only downside is that you can’t rotate the screen so the camera is on top This would make it better for dash mounting configurations
It takes you down roads that our rv can’t go down even though I put in our dimensions. Doesn’t show gas stations. Very disappointed.
After just a few days my 795 would not turn on. I called Garmin and they had me try a few things but to no avail. They are sending me a new one. Kudos to Garmin support, the phone system was not hard to navigate, wait time short, and the tech was very pleasant and helpful. I expect I just got a bad one and Garmin is doing right by me. In my experience, electronic devices if they fail do so shortly after purchase or they last for many years. Stuff happens. No loss, no foul
It charges in car and from an electric outlet. It is easy to program to a destination. I think my device is defective. We went on a trip to TN, the unit would stop and switch to "Unit is pinning. I would press the two buttons as directed and within seconds, it would revert back to "Unit is pinning" I don't like this part and I don't know how to contact you to replace or repair it.
so many additional features than a regular gps. well worth the learnig curve.
First, let me say that the service from the team at TechnoRV was absolutely excellent. Friendly, helpful, determined to make things work - even while i was traveling and the "expedited" delivery we paid for went off the rails. They actually sent a second one to my next destination and we just let the first one get returned when it arrived (well after i left)! And the folks there were unflappable. Plus, I got the great materials that are helping me learn all the features. Still learning all its bells&whistles, but am finding this new GPS to be a great tool, esp for traveling through the Rockies where my cell service can get iffy at times. I've been a Techno RV customer since i hit the road, and will definitely return again and again! Great folks, great service!
